14. Yungi X Seonghwa: bad timing

No one's POV:

Today is the day ATEEZ were gonna film an MV for the comeback. Everyone has prepared themselves for this very moment so they want it all perfect. They got their hair styled, makeup on, got their outfits on and with that they started filming

Seonghwa's POV:

The members were currently having their part filmed and I'm just sitting here watching them. These days I've been feeling stressed out, since we haven't had at least a break. The feeling of stress started to trigger my headspace, but I handled it really well so I have nothing to worry about right now. The staff called me and the rest to film the choreography part. I stood up and went to the scene. We were going great, no mistakes until a certain move of the choreo made me trip and fall on my back

The members looked at me concerned since I laid there for a while, feeling the pain in my back ache. I realized what I was doing and immediately got back up again. I told them I was ok and there was nothing to worry about so they just went with it and we started dancing again. As I was dancing, I felt the need of slipping, but I knew I would mess things up if I did so I just continued to dance

Once we were done the staff told us to take a 10 minute break and San was the first one to flop down on the floor. I chuckled and went to sit on the chair I was sitting on before. I thought the need of slipping faded away by now, but it didn't. As i sat down, i felt myself go to a younger age, which made me whimper to myself

"No. No. Can't be baby now. Will mess things up"

I started talking to myself until I felt a hand on my shoulder and I jumped at the sudden touch

"Hyung, are you ok? You fell pretty hard there"

Mingi asked me while rubbing my shoulder and I secretly frowned. Am not Hyung! I took a deep breathe, shook my head and looked at Mingi

"I'm f-fine, don't worry. It didn't hurt that much so I'm o-ok"

That's a lie, everyone saw me lay there for a while. They're gonna suspect I got hurt badly, which I did. Mingi sat down next to me

"You sure hyung? It looked painful since it was a loud thud"

I sighed and was about to speak but I was cut off by someone

"Hey guys! Hey Hyung! You ok?"

Yunho asks me while sitting next to me and Mingi

"I'm ok d- I- I mean Yunho!"

I coughed and immediately went to the place where the staff told me to go so he could film my scene

No one's POV:

Yunho and Mingi started to suspect Seonghwa's behavior. Looking down, fiddling with his fingers, stuttering while talking

Yup, he's slipping. Both caregivers mentally cursed at each other and physically slapped themselves for not noticing earlier

"How did I not notice this before?! Poor thing had been holding it since this morning"

Yunho says covering his face with his hands and sighing

Seonghwa's POV:

I'm about to lose it. I cannot take it anymore. I want to slip, but I know I'll mess up the film. My film was almost over but it seems like my headspace couldn't take it anymore. I started breathing a bit faster my body started to shake a bit. The staff seems to notice and worries but shrugs it off since he thought it wasn't that serious

I kept shaking and hyperventilating till at one moment, without tripping or even walking, I fell on my butt. I tried standing up again but my legs were too weak and soon I felt my arms start to give out. I started to whine out loud, hoping someone would help me but they were too shocked to realize I needed help so I couldn't take it and started crying

Mingi's POV:

Once I heard cries come out of Seonghwa, that was my cue to run to him. I arrived to where he was and he weakly looks at me and starts to whine, meaning he wants to be held. Luckily everyone knows about Seonghwa's littlespace so they didn't freak out when they saw him act like a baby. I grab him and take him to a nearby sofa they have here. I sat down there and placed him on my lap

"Don't worry Hwa, everything will be ok"

I rubbed his back while whispering to him saying it's gonna ok. Seonghwa stays put on my lap but starts to find someone else and whines when he can't find him

"What's wrong dear? Do you want someone?"

He looks at me straight in the eyes and whispers

"D-daddy"

It didn't take a second for me to call Yunho and he went bolting towards us. He sat next to us and Seonghwa started making grabby hands at Yunho and he complied

"Baby why didn't you tell us? We could've rescheduled!"

I said holding his little hands, massaging them with my thumb and he places his head on Yunho's chest and pouts while looking at me

"I think he's in a younger headspace"

Yunho says and I nodded, knowing the fact that Seonghwa can't talk when he's in a younger headspace. Minutes after, the other members came towards us and started asking what happened

"Don't worry guys, Seonghwa accidentally slipped today. There's nothing to worry about"

Yunho tells them and the rest started to console Seonghwa. Seonghwa might be the oldest, but that doesn't stop us from babying him. The staff came in and told us we could reschedule and everyone deeply exhaled. To be honest, everyone was exhausted. This comeback had really been the hardest. But now we get to go back to the dorms, have our breaks and have fun with Hwa

*at the dorms*

Everyone was too exhausted to do anything around the house so they decided to take a nap. Meanwhile, Seonghwa wasn't tired at all and wanted to play with his caregivers. He was currently wearing a bunny onesie and was sucking his paci, laying on the floor, playing with his baby toys. Yunho and i watch Seonghwa play with his toys, free from stress and exhaustion and giggles freely. This put a smile to both of our faces. The baby is happier than anything else

I don't want that to change
