Lucky (TFF 6/7)

Jon sat in the office, he was surprised that the park was doing so well and making a lot of money, he wasn't complaining tho. He got up from his desk and went to check up on everyone, the park closed a couple of hours ago so maintenance could be done on the animatronics. If it wasn't for Davis and Kat agreeing to help with the maintenance then it would have taken Jon, AI Afton, and Molten hours to check everyone.

Walking to the tent in the middle of the park, Jon saw almost everyone inside, "Okay so, maintenance day. Davis and Kat will be helping so all of you, be good," He said and led everyone to the office building where the repair stations were.

They waited almost a full hour before Davis' car pulled up and parked in an available spot, Jon saw Davis and Kat exit the car but was confused when an elderly woman exited as well. The three walked inside the build, Jon stared at the old woman in confusion, "This is my grandmother, she's visiting from Japan and she wanted to come with us for some reason," Kat explained as the elderly woman went to sit down on one of the nearby couches.

Jon, Kat, Davis, Afton, and Molten led some of the animatronics into the repair room and left the rest with the old woman. She looked around as if looking for something, before sighing, "You must be really lucky," She said, some of the others turned to her, "What do you mean?" Rockstar Chica asked her, "I sense a Zenko in this area," She says in a hushed tone.

When those that left came back and were about to take the next group of animatronics, "Dad, what a Zenko?" Baby asked, Afton was confused about why Baby would ask this, "I think it's a kitsune but I'm not really sure," He answered, "A Zenko is a type of kitsune, they're like god-like foxes that are like guardians," Jon explains reading from his phone.

Afton turns away from Jon and looks at Baby, "Why do you want to know what a Zenko is?" He asks her, "Kat's grandma said there was one here," Rockstar Chica said, "Not was there is a Zenko in this area," She said.

Everyone looked at her, "Please don't take offense to this but those are mythical animals, they don't exist," Jon says looking at her, "How about this," She said standing up and walking in front of Jon, "You put fried tofu and a blanket out in a quiet, open area in this park, wait a day and see," She said with a smirk on her face.

Jon sighed and started to walk back to the repair room, "I'll do that after I'm done doing this," He calls behind him. Kat walks over to her grandmother, "If you want we can go to the store and get some tofu," She offered, "You're gonna help her?" Rockstar Freddy asked her, "She's my grandmother," was all Kat said before leading her grandmother to the car and driving away.

When everyone was done with their maintenance, some stayed in the office and waited for Kat and her grandmother to return. The car pulled back into the parking lot and Kat and her grandmother stepped out with a large plastic bag, "Did you two buy a lot of tofu?!" Davis called to them from the door, "No, we got one and ran home to get a blanket!" Kat called back.

They walked to a spot behind the hotel and Kat's grandmother put the tofu on a plate and places the blanket next to it, "If there's an actual kitsune here tomorrow, I'll give you 50 bucks" Jon said to the old woman as they left. The sun started setting, the animatronics went back to the spots in the park and the humans drove back to their respective homes.

When the sun started to rise the animatronics woke up and started to make their way to the hotel to see if the old woman was right, Jon was already there with Davis, Kat, the old woman, and Afton. Jon opened the doors slowly and quietly with everyone behind him, "There is no way that these things are real," Jon mumbles under his breath.

They rounded the corner to the area where they put the items, Jon stopped in his tracks with a look of disbelief on his face, the plate was empty, beautiful flowers were blooming in the area, and the blanket had a lump under it that seemed to be breathing.

He slowly approached the blanket, being as quiet as possible with the others staying a bit behind, he gently lifted the blanket to reveal a snow white fox with red highlights that had nine tails. Everyone softly gasped after seeing the sleeping creature, Jon slowly put the blanket back on the mythical creature before quiet but quickly walking away from it.

When they got to the entrance of the hotel, Jon turned to the old woman who had the biggest smirk on her face, "Your bet," She said with her hand out, Jon handed her the 50 bucks then started to walk to his office with one of his hands running through his hair.

The old woman turned to the animatronics, "Treat them well, they can give good luck but they can give bad luck if they want to," She warned them before walking in the direction of the parking lot.

(I did research into kitsunes and found out that zenkoes are a thing and its really cool, there's a whole lot about them I didn't know and it was very interesting to read about)
