"Rumi is gonna be mad," I say

"That depends if she's even seen the text. I messaged her and-," Ryukyu says but gets cut off by the doors opening

"Ever heard of knocking," I say

"Ever heard of texting your girlfriend when you get shot," she says

"I knew it," Ryukyu says then there's a knock at the door and I point to it while looking at Rumi

"Come in," I say then a doctor walks in

"Oh, a lot of visitors. Anyway due to you pulling out the bullet by hand there are still a lot of bullet fragments in your body. so you have two choices. You can get surgery that will remove said bullet fragments, with a roughly 50 percent chance of paralyzation, due to the fragments being so close to the spinal cord, or you can not have the surgery and guarantee your walking, however, there is also a 50 percent risk that the fragments will travel around in your body and will contact an organ or an important vessel that will kill you" he says causing everyone to go silent

"So if things go bad my options are a slight inconvenience or death. I'd rather not walk" I say

"You do understand that if you do get paralyzed unless a massive technological breakthrough happens you will not be able to become a hero," he says

"You know the only reason I joined UA was because it was just something to do, I was in a whole new world and I just wanted to do something with my life. I never wanted to be a hero it was just an opportunity that presented itself" I say

"Alright the surgery will be tomorrow you can talk with your friends and family," he says then leaves

"Wait what do you mean by a whole new world," Ryukyu says

"Want the truth or the lie Rumi and I tell everyone," I say

"Both," she says

"I'm an immigrant from the US of A baby and I'm from another universe that I was supposed to die in but got sent here instead," I say

"But you told me you were an immigrant," Nejire says

"I don't like lying but with such an unbelievable story being the truth lying seemed like the easiest option," I say then there is another knock on the door

"Come in," I say and a bipedal dog in a suit comes in

"So you're the kid that brought down the hero killer," he says

"Yes," I say

"Stain has some pretty serious injuries mostly broken bones right now. He's in the hospital under strict guard. Here's a lesson you should have already learned. When quirks became the norm the police force sought to maintain the status quo they decided we wouldn't use quirks as weapons. That's when heroes came in. They do what we couldn't, if they were licensed of course. It would be impossible for the police force to condone the usage of such deadly quirks, after all, were trying to stop such harm from being done. The reason heroes can use their quirks is because of the strict code of ethics the original heroes decided on. That's why it's against the law to use quirks to cause injury, regardless that you were up against the hero killer, you do not have the authority to harm the villain. That means you and your supervisor Ryukyu should face harsh punishment" he says

"Now wait a minute I just want to make sure I'm picking up what you are putting down. if I used my quirk to harm the hero killer Ryukyu and I would be in a lot of trouble" I say

"Yes but I think you should hear me out," he says

"No need to, I beat him up without using my quirk in any way. Didn't even use it to protect myself. You can even check my film from the U.A. sports festival I never displayed an ability that would cause his injuries," I say
