"(Y/N), (Y/N), give me your answer. I'm half crazy all for the love of you."

(Y/N) has been feeling a little down lately, more specifically they felt jealous.

They had been feeling the same attraction to Gio for years, but why would the other ever look at them?

It seemed as though Gio had a crush on one of their friends, she stared and stared at him. flirting with him every chance she got. Occasionally she would give small glances towards (Y/N), but that was it. Just a simple gesture.

Why did (Y/N) ever think that Gio would turn her attention to them? They aimlessly walked through the halls, their heart feeling heavy at the thought.

"(Y/N)? What are you still doing here after school?" A deep, resounded voice called out, and their heart clenched with envy as they looked at who stood beside him.

Aki was a nice and respectful male, it was no wonder Gio took interest in her. He was smart and athletic, friendly and calculative.

He was really something.. (Y/N) bit their lips, not wanting to tear up in front of the two. That would be very embarrassing for them.

"I was just studying at the library, but I'm heading out now since it seems it might rain soon." (Y/N) looked elsewhere, clenching the straps of their backpack.

They hated how she was staring at them, they honestly did not know how to feel. They just wanted to go home.

"I can take you back." A lighter voice spoke up, startling (Y/N). "I'll take Aki home, and then I can take you back. If that's alright?" Gio offered.

"No.. it's fine." They muttered. "Are you sure? Did you at least bring a umbrella with you because it's raining hard right now." Gio said, a hint of concern in her voice.

(Y/N) had totally tuned out the harsh pitter-patters of rain hitting against the roof.

"Oh."

So, now there (Y/N) sat in the back of the car, looking out of the car window. Small conversations were heard in the front seats, as the rain hit against the windows.

It was calming to (Y/N), and before they knew it their eyes closed shut.

They awoke with a shake, their eyes slowly opened as they came face to face with Gio. "Man, your a real deep sleeper." Gio chuckled, making (y/n)'s heart beat against their chest.

She was so close to their face. "We've arrived at your house now. I already dropped Aki off, maybe you should continue with your little nap."

But something felt off. What exactly was it?

"Wait, how did you know where my house was. I don't think I've ever told you my address?" Their eyebrows furrowed, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

Gio's smile faded, as she hesitated a little to answer back. "Aki told me." She answered, her lips upturning to a smile once more.

"Oh, I see.." (y/n) replied, giving a small smile in return. "Well, head on in. I'll see you tomorrow" Gio beamed, getting out of the way so the other could get out.

"Thank you." (Y/n) said, waving a goodbye. Gio smiled, entering her car.

(Y/N) entered their house, their figure shaking as they slid down to the floor. Aki had never been to their house before, nor knew their address.

No.. they were probably overthinking it. Maybe Gio knew from someone else. Maybe... because why would Gio know where they lived.

"Yeah.. thats probably it." (Y/N) said, their voice shaking with fear.

It had been a week since (Y/N) had avoided Gio like the plague, the (h/c)-ette just didn't feel like seeing the other lately. It wasn't only that, but it was because recently Gio's gaze would always fall on them whenever they passed in the halls, or when they sat outside for lunch.

It made (Y/N) feel quite uncomfortable to say the least. Their feelings were a mess, unable to organize the thoughts and the constant fears that seemed to pop randomly in their head.

Gio was starting to act strange too, almost as if she was trying to restrain herself from doing something. It made (Y/N) feel like they did something wrong.

What had they done? They couldn't think of anything they would've done, (Y/N) was simply just ignoring her. That was all to it.

That was all to it..

All (Y/N) wanted to do was to get home and rest. Ignore all the annoyances, ignore their feelings, ignore Gio.

They wanted to sleep, to close their eyes and fall into a deep sleep. A sleepless nights, with no dreams, no worries.

But, how could they do that when Gio's shadow creeped beside their bed. The same old creak, the little giggles, the small touches of what was supposed to be comfort, but brought chills instead.

Hours and hours of Gio creeping around the room, checking their phone to see what her little beloved has been up to, observing their clothes and stealing a few. For Gio's collection, of course.

Doing bits of (y/n)'s homework, leaving small love notes around their desk. A few drawings of hearts , here and there.

When had this begun? When had Gio start to creep up into their room. Roaming about, and touching most of their belongings.

Why hadn't they noticed this before?

"Boo." A voice whispered, blowing air into their ear, causing a panic reaction to the sudden action.

"I knew you were awake. You were shaking like a poor, little puppy.. I must admit it, it is quite cute to see you all panicky." Gio giggled, gently sitting down on (Y/N)'s bed.

They did not speak a word, paralyzed with fear. Was this really their crush? The one they have been attracted to for year? Was that this the same Gio?

"Aw, you poor thing. You must've been terrified. There, there." Gio cooed, patting their head softly.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened in fear, grabbing onto their sheets more tightly. They did not want to face Gio, afraid to see the expression that crossed her face.

They could not. They just couldn't. And so with that they closed their eyes hoping it was all a dream, and that they would wake up to find out that Gio wasn't some creep.

Oh, what a shame it wasn't.
