Chapter 6: Htrae, The Backwards

   Firefighter sirens can be heard roaming the road, while Akira jump building to building chasing after Rio who is flying not far further. She seemed struggling after taking a hit from Akira punch. This could be a chance for him to stop her.
   From a far, he saw that Rio landed somewhere inside an abandoned building. He quicken his pace and try to be as silent as he can be. He sneak around into the building and hiding behind a wall where he can see Rio is standing in the middle of the room.
 
  "I know you are there!" Rio shouted towards the wall, and launch multiple small rockets, bombarded the wall to rubbles.
   "Why are you doing this?!" Akira shouted as he taking a cover from her. She laugh maniacally hearing Akira question.
   "Why don't you come out and I'll tell you what was it all about." She lured him out with words. He who was hesitate, slowly came out of hiding.
   "Now, tell me." He glares at her, preparing for any attack she might throw at him.
   "Chill down, I'm not gonna hurt you.  The rockets just now is to lured you out." She explained proudly, as if things go accordingly to her way. Akira never let off his guard, as he come closer to Rio, who is standing idly by.
  "You killed Karina, was that supposed to lured me out too?!" Akira shouted as he gripped tight.

  Meanwhile, on the top of Las Estrellas building. Royce and Arthit are trapped. They can't go down and Arthit don't have the heart to leave Karina's body.
   "We have to leave!" Royce yelled at Arthit who is crying as he hug Karina.
   "She is like a mother to me! We may be distant for these three month, but I don't want to leave her!" He yells back, and Royce have no words to say.
   "Royce! Are you still in there?!" Suddenly, he heard Rossa shouts, looking for him.
  "Yeah! We are here!" He shouted as the witch slowly floating towards them.
  "This building is going to collapse! You guys have to go now!" She said as she slowly fly out the building.
  "Where are you going?!" -Royce pulling Arthit away from Karina's body- "I'm going to hold this building!" She reply and quickly fly to the top of Las Estrellas building.

   "Arthit! We gotta leave now!" Royce said as he pulling his arm.
  "No, I won't leave her!" He insisted.
  "If you can't leave her, live for her!" Royce knocked some sense into his head. Arthit turn his head to Royce and nodded. They quickly run towards the stairs, but the door is blocked by a broken fallen pillar.
  "We are stuck!" Royce yelled as he push the door with all his might but it won't bulge.
  "What we gonna do?" Arthit asked as his knees shaking.
  "Don't be afraid! Rossa will help us!" Royce said as he look him up and down.
   "Besides, you are taller than me. Aren't taller guy supposed to be stronger?" Royce teased him, as he blush and look away.
  "Tall doesn't mean anything. I'm just a human, not a super robot." He reply and poke Royce on the forehead.
  "Aren't shorty supposed to be clever? Think a way out!" He teased him back.  Royce was about to open his mouth, when suddenly flows of red energies engulf the entire building, removing every obstacle that stopping people from moving on, and holding the building from collapse.
  
   People from far clamoring, as they saw Rossa, who floating above the Las Estrellas building, while red energies flowing down from her body to the building below. Her face calmly reading incantations, while her shoulder shaking as she raise her hand above her head.

   "Cum ego tenuit in potentia, ut ego te non erit tenens vias!  Plagas ea nocte lucerna luceat.  vi, Telekinesis!"

  As her screams echoes, a powerful waves of red energies flow from her body to the building below, creating a low frequency booming sounds. As the red energies touches the earth below, everything from the rubbles and broken pillars are return back to normal, but coated with the red energies, as it holding it.
   "Move your ass, scum! I can't hold this building for too long! Hurry!" She shriek so loud, that everyone in the building quickly moving out and away from the building. A news helicopter appear along with reporters on the street, the firefighters are trying their best to evacuate people and police are at the best to keep people away from the building. Ambulance can be seen carrying injured and unconscious people. Arthit and Royce quickly take their chances to run down the stairs.
    But, Rossa can't hold any longer and let go of her magic, as the red energies stopped flowing. The building shaking as it slowly start to collapse. There are still some people in the building, like Royce and Arthit who stuck on level 5.
    "There is only one thing to do." She thought to herself. She summon the forbidden Grimoire, as it floating infront of her. Telekinetically, the book flipping to the page that she needed. Time spell.
