Y/Ns POV

"Detention, huh? Wow, didn't expect that to happen." I smirked as we walked out of the classroom. "I know, I dont even know why I got detention in the first place! It was just an accident!" Jake said, a hint of anger in his voice.

Heh, he sounded so cute in this moment. I felt myself blush a bit at him. "Umm, Y/N? Are you okay?" Jake asked. "Huh? O-Oh, yeah!" I smiled nervously. His face then turned into a stern one. "You've been spacing out a lot lately, you seem to be more nervous too.. are you.. lying to me?" Jake said as he got closer to me. I felt myself blush harder.

"A-Ahmm.. erm.. n-no! I'm just... nervous about the competition, thats all." I lied. Jake seemed to think to himself for a few seconds. "Alright.. whatever you say.." Jake turned away from me, but then seemed to notice something.

The said thing he noticed was.. Luke?

I felt myself suddenly being pulled by my hand, Jake seemed to be taking me towards Luke. "J-Jake? What are you-" "HEYYYY! LUKE!" Jake shouted as he ran to him. "Oh.. hey, Jake. Hey, Y/N." Luke greeted. "Heya, Lukey." I smirked, still kind of nervous because Jake still didn't let go of my hand.

"Your lookin pretty down in the dumps today, must have something to do with Zaaa- t-that crush of yours!" Jake said. I dont know what he was going to say beforehand, but it was honestly kind of concerning. "Oh, yeah.." Luke frowned.

"Well, hey, you could always write a love song for them! I know you don't really sing, but I could perform it for you if you like!" Jake said, a smile plastered on his stupid yet adorable face. He really was thoughtful huh? Even if he didnt seem like it.. i blushed a bit.

"Really?! You'd really do that for me?!" Luke said, his tone suddenly sounding eager. "Y-Yeah, but you don't have to ru-" Jake was cut off by a happy Luke once again, "Thank you so much, Jake! I'll start writing it right now! I'll see you tomorrow!" Luke then ran off. I sighed, then the bell rang. "Well.. guess I'll see ya tomorrow too, Jakey boy." I teased.

"Heh, see ya tomorrow then as well, Y/N. Bye!" He then ran off, presumably to his locker to go get his things so he could leave.

Jakes POV

I.. i know I liked Daisy and all but.. sometimes, I wonder to myself.. do i..

Do I like Y/N?

I mean, it would explain a lot actually but.. i joined the club for Daisy, so how am I gonna tell the others that I was suddenly in love with someone else? "Oh brother.." I said to myself, my face heating up.. i was sweating nervously just thinking about what'd they'd have to say.

Oh well.. i guess, im not gonna ask Daisy out then.. cause.. im gonna ask Y/N out instead..
