My mother wants me to start studying the bible.

We were watching Legion and at one point, Gabriel received a direct order from God to kill Michael, and I disagreed, saying that if God gave me a direct order to kill my little brother, I'd say fuck that.

She says I have no faith in God...

Why should I? He literally has winged snakes flying around him, singing his praises. He had nearly destroyed all life on Earth.

Does that really sound like a good person to you?

She said I'd go to Hell.

So if I have no faith in an all-powerful being that allegedly cares for us and has an ego so fucking huge he has to make flying reptiles to sing his praises, I'm sent to Hell to suffer for eternity?

Does he actually care?

Or does he just want to stay in control of our daily lives?

If God gave you a direct order to kill your loved one, with no given reason, would you obey?
