Have you ever thought of running

Have you ever thought of running?
Running every single time
From situations, places, people?
Just because every time you would try Something could mortify you,
A single silly moment could cost you
Your Pride,
Your Face,
Your composure,
The clarity in your head.
Because the only thing you would think
About is that moment that is still on repeat,
On and on and on,
You would only remember the time
You did something wrong,
Said something wrong.

That is why I am running. Literally Running.
I am running from rule-breaking,
From going out and having fun,
Meeting new people, talking to them.
'Cause, would I try every term could go wrong. I am still running.
My heart is beating fast in my chest,
My stomach feels upside down.
And the only thing I can hear is: You're weird.
