A New Beginning

Protecter/Training Begins

I'm thirteen years old and I've completely mastered my powers that no longer require me to use emotion, and ever since Janice moved in we have been best friends ever since, and eventually calling eachother brother and sister.

About two years ago I was in her house and we were watching a movie, in the end of the movie I started heading home, "Hey Alex, can you promise me we will always be brother and sister?" I stopped in my tracks and turned around and said, "Janice were always be brother and sister no matter what, but if it makes you feel better then I promise."

She smiled at me and gave me a hug, "Thank you, I'll see you tommorow at the new school," she said to me cheerfully. I almost forgot today was the last of summer vacation and me Janice and some two friends we made during the years named Kat and Jake who are twins and are vampires with a special power that allows them to stay in the sun for a good four hours without getting burned.

I also found out that the person I should choose to protect has been with me all this time, my best friend/sister Janice. I have been taking care of her like family, when she is pushed around, or when she is having relationship problems. Even when she needs advice for social things. I have never noticed until I made that promise.

Janice is a phiere which is the second most powerful monster in the legendary class, she doesn't know any of us are monsters, or that monsers even exist. Her dad saw me use my powers while I was training and found out I'm the most powerful monster in lengendary class called a Guardian.

He told me that he and Janice and her mom were monsters as well, but the mom was captured by the ruler of hell named Daemonatrias, her mother is a godess just like my mother and has a special power to time travel. Daemontrias wants her power so he kidnapped her, one day we will have to tell her because when she reaches twenty she will have the power to travel through time as well.

Until then we need to ready her to defeat Daemontrias and save her mother. The next day I got ready for school and walked since it was two blocks away, as I was walking to Janice's house to wait for her so we can walk together I heard Jake calling me, "Hey, Alex wait up!" him and his sister Kat lived two houses to the right from Janice. "Hey Jake, Hey Kat good morning" I said with a smile, Janice opened the door and said, "Bye daddy love you, oh hey guys, *hugs everyone* lets get going."

We head to school and we get all the same classes except for last periods. I have robotics, Janice has Spanish, Jake and Kat have Algebra. After school was over I went to Mr.Judo and before I could speak he said, "Okay your now old enough, have you mastered your powers?" I said to him proudly, "I've pretty much mastered them," before I can say anything else he threw a bunch of sport equipment at me.

My first reaction was I instantly made a shield of ice and acid in front of it, when the equipment hit the shield it was soft from being melted and then fell to the floor. He told me with a surprise on his face, "Wow, you might even have been better than me when i was your age."

"Now lets start on training how to be able to do your fury power, it's when you combine all your powers and you create new powers in that form including your normal powers." he said, I told him with confidence, "Lets do this..."
