The next morning
Mar's POV
At 7:00 in the morning my alarm went off for school but there really was no reason to set it because I didn't sleep I couldn't stop thinking about y/n the entire the night
I just want her to be ok breakups are hard but finding out that what you thought was your forever had been having an affair is even worse she deserves so much more than that douchebag
I hate the fact that I trusted Mattia I really thought he was perfect for her but I should've fucking known he was gonna break her heart he doesn't even deserve someone like my sister he'll get the hell he deserves we just gotta wait
I turned my alarm off as soon as he went off and I rubbed my eyes to get rid the tiredness I had from not sleeping and I decided to check on my sister just to make sure she wasn't crying
I got out of bed and I made my way downstairs with the little energy I had and when I went over to the couch my mom was already there turning the TV off
She headed my footsteps walked to her so she turned around and she looked at me while smiling
"Good morning sweetie" she said coming up to me messing up my hair
"Can I stay home from school today I didn't get any sleep thinking about y/n I just wanna stay home and make sure she's ok"
My mom smiled at me and looked at my sleeping sister for a few seconds then back at me
"Alright you can stay home"
I was relieved I didn't want my sister to be here by herself feeling sad and crying all day feeling like she had no shoulder to cry on
"Thank you mom" I said giving her a hug "plus it's good on Mattia's part because if I saw him he would end up dead"
My mom chuckled before pulling away from the hug
"Mar we talked about this yesterday you can't hurt him I know he hurt your baby sister but you would regret it trust me on this one ok" my mom said rubbing my shoulder
"I know mom"
"I'm glad you know" she smiled at me and checked the time on the clock "I have to get going to work I'll see you later and take care of your sister she needs it"
My mom kissed my forehead and walked around the couch to kiss my sister's forehead
She played with y/n's hair for a few seconds before walking to the front door she waved bye to me and she left
Since I wasn't going to school I decided to call my friends Samy and Mikey to let them know that I'm not coming today
I dialed Samy's number and it took him a minute but he ended up answering
"Hey why you calling?" He asked in a sleepy voice
"I'm not coming to school today I have something to do"
"What?" He said "what is so important that you have to skip school"
I sighed, I wanted to tell him but I don't think my mom nor my sister would be ok with me saying anything
