God i never realised just how packed movie theatres can be.
doesn't help when you're 5'3 and your eye view is practically the chest of any person in front of you.

"AAUHGHAH WHAT THE FU- oh hey kun" i stop, mid scream to face the stunned man.
"i'm not even gonna ask what that was" kun says as he hands me a ticket.
"yeah some things are best left unsaid" i shoot him a look, only to slowly shift my gaze behind him.
hell yes
the food stand.
"anyways, what about snacks" i nudge his shoulder with a smug look on my face as he chuckles "i'm with you on that one"
i can't stop myself from grinning, the snack stand is about to be mine.
we're about half way through the movie and to be honest.
it's shit and all this candy makes me want to shit.
double bogey!
i quickly shoot a glance to Kun and see that he's surprisingly invested, atleast he likes it "ayo.. i need a toilet break, i'll be a bit"
"yeah yeah ok call me if you need me" Kun politely shoos me off as his gaze stays fixed on the abomination on screen
okay sorry it's really not that bad, i'm just dramatic.
i grab my bag and quickly dart out the theatre and to the toilet, speeding into one of the stalls.
ahh sweet relief
mm yes the sweet sound of toilet noises and...
*huff huff*
"oh god"
....what the fuck is that.
*huff*
"oh yes please"
oh hell naw
in a cinema toilet... of all places
god do they not have some class, horny bastards.
due to the awkwardness of my situation i quickly finish up in the bathroom, wash my hands and sprint out of there and back to the theatre we were in.
after a long minute of searching i find Kun and our seats.
sinking back into the comfort of the totally uncomfortable cinema chair, seemingly dozing off for the rest of the movie .
"hyesung??... hyesung!" i snort awake at kun shaking me
"come on sleepyhead, movies over "
"oh shoot, okay i'm up"
we abruptly pick up our stuff and fix up our seats and leave the cinema.
we hadn't really had a plan of what to do after the movie but, it had been so long since we'd seen eachother previously so we decided to go on a well needed catch up walk.
filling eachother in on all the juicy contents of our lives.
"and yeah basically mark ended up being the guy i was texting and yeah now we're dating"
"listen Hyesung, there's something i need to tell you, something i've kept from you for a while but i can't hide it anymore" Kun looks at me with a great need for care.
"i'm listening" i hold his hand as he looks up at me into my eyes, looking for almost a premature answer to what he wants to tell me without saying anything.
he takes a deep breath and exhales holding my hand back.
"hyesung.. I love.."

wowza it's been a while hasn't it
2 years what the hay
time honestly flies, so much has happened in the past 2 years it's been so hectic
well first off my dad suffered a stroke
we went into lockdown
i was diagnosed with depression and anxiety (however i do see a dedicated psychologist regularly and i'm doing a lot better regarding that (: )
i went through a breakup (twice with the same guy👹)
and my prelim assignments are coming up
golly!
so much to go through but i'll get into detail about it all soon (:
i just want to thank you all for being so incredibly patient with me
i know for a long time i went ghost and quite a few people actually reached out to ask whether or not i gave up on tired
tbh for a while i did, but honestly it's the people like that and who i see reading my book for multiple hours a day who stopped me from giving up
as dramatic as it seems
you really mean a lot to me and i thank you all for sticking by no matter what ❤️
anywho, the next chapters should be out in a little bit, depending on how i go with school work as prelims are starting next week and that's scary 😟
