Platonic or romantic?

I wake up in the morning. This is my last day with Niki.

I get out of bed and take a shower, I am quite smelly anyway.

I get ready and walk over to the sofa to wake up Niki 

I feel bad waking her up, she seems so peaceful. But this our last day together and I want to make it the best day ever.

I nudge Niki on the shoulder.

"Niki? Wake up." I whisper trying not to be harsh.

Niki's eyes slowly open.

"Hey..(y/n)" Niki says tiredly

"Get ready, Niki. This our last day. We leave tonight."

"Alright give me a second, (y/n)" Niki says still laying on the sofa.

After a few minutes Niki gets up and gets ready

"Niki you ready yet?"

Niki sprints towards me

"Yup!"

Niki and I walk out of the room and walk to the side shop next to the hotel.

We walk into the shop.

"Hey Niki? What are we gonna buy here?"

"Maybe some candy?"

"Yeah, I guess"

I haven't had candy in a while..

I've just felt bad eating it. 

"(Y/n)? Are you okay? You've been spacing out a lot, are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, just a lot to think about."

"Alright."

Niki and I walk around the isles 

We reach the candy isle

"So, what candy should we get?" Niki says with joy.

I look around the isle. I feel sick. I've completely forgotten what it's felt like to eat actual candy.

The most sugar I've gotten is from sodas

Niki and I walk around the isle

Nikis eyes dart at a small tub of cotton candy.

"Hey, (y/n). Have I told you what my favorite candy is?"

"Nope, what is it?"

"I love Cotton candy, it also reminds me a lot of you, cause you're so sweet!"

"Aw thanks!" 

Niki picks up the tub of cotton candy.

The Cotten candy does remind me alot of Niki, sweet.

The Cotten candy is half pink and half blue.

Niki and I walk to the checkout to pay for our stuff 

The cashier looks a both of us for a second.

I have a feeling what they are about to say.

"OMG IM A FAN!" The cashier says

"LEMME PAY FOR YOU!" The cashier squeals

The one thing about being popular is, the deals I can get from stores.

We walk out of the store and into the park right across from the side shop

We sit down on the bench.

"Hey, remember this park, (y/n)"

"Mhm, yup."

"(Y/n), you know. I love you right?"

"Yup, you too."

Niki opens the small tub of cotton candy and hands me some

"Here, take it you deserve it."

I'm a bit nervous but a take the piece.

Ohm.

The Cotton candy is sweet.

"So I've been thinking about our platonic relationship." Niki says

I get extremely nervous, does she want to break up?

"And, I want to ask, is it really platonic..? Cause honestly, I want it to be romantic."

My cheeks go bright red.

"I-I yes..romantic yup yes" 

I could barely form words I was so nervous.

Niki brings my face to hers.

"I love you." Niki whispers before kissing me.

"I-I love you too"

Me and Niki talk at the bench for a few hours.

"Hey Niki what time is it?"

"Uhm, 7:00 pm"

"WE NEED TO GET READY FOR OWR FLIGHTS!"

Niki and I rush to the hotel and pack our stuff and head to the airport 

Our flight is at 9

We rush into the airport.
