Your POV

I'm sure this formation will 100% work, this formation hides the position of the Survey Corps Second in Command which is Erwin and I would tag along to study the premises and especially him. We aren't actually in the front, Squad Hange will be in front while we circle the whole formation. We'll only tell the cadets that we are on the front, while squad Hange circles around the formation. Telling them the complete opposite.

"This is an impressive formation V," Erwin spoke in a marvelled tone as his hand was on his chin studying the drawn-out formation on the board. "The part we circle the whole formation, while squad Flagon will be on the far end the complete opposite where we would start orbiting the formation," He said. trailing his index finger on our formation. I took a sip of the sweetened tea and took a spoonful bite at my cake. "Well I do have doubts about this and the outcome that might happen during the expedition is unpredictable," I spoke out.

"I have a feeling that this expedition will lead to more deaths. I checked the humidity and temperature, and it seems like tomorrow's expedition will rain. Not a light rain but a heavy one." I added. Erwin nodded averting his gaze from the board and looked out the window.

"You have been given us the chance to complete tomorrow's expedition. This chance is important, we will finally reveal Lovof's crimes and have a new asset to humanity. The survey corps will all be hopeless without you V" He said truly. "No need for the appreciation Erwin. I did what I had to do" I said with a small up curved tug on my lip and placed my teacup back down.

Erwin removed his gaze at the window and gave me a profound smile.

-EXPEDITION-

Levi's POV

I never knew rain could pour this hard and this stupid fog is too thick, I can barely even see anything.
Taking a glance at Farlan and Isabel. They seem to be thinking the same too

'If the three of us go...The team we leave behind will be short-handed... If I go alone... There's no guarantee I'll be able to find them again' I thought looking at my hand's grip on the reins of the horse to which I came accustomed.

'Which is it?'

'Pick one.'

'There's no time to waver.'

Cutting off my thoughts I averted my gaze from below and stared at them. "I'm going alone. You two join up with Flagon. I'll get the documents and I'll get to be the one to kill them. Erwin and Undead brainiac" I spoke out heartlessly as they now gasp at me and their faces turn mid curios.

"...But Levi...!! I'm going too!!" Farlan protested. I turned to look at Isabel I can see the frustration but deep inside it was worry and concern in her eyes. "Isabel. What do you think? Just me, or Flagon and Sairam?" I asked. I knew she felt something towards Flagon's assistant from the very first time He scolded her when he caught her from the kitchen grounds.

"Who's more likely to become Titan chow?..." she asked and her face turns serious "If the two of you stay together, it'll raise your chances of survival," I said with my voice deeper and stoic, While Farlan, looking at him it was clear he was against my strategy.

"Levi!! Keep your cool and think!! If you wait for a little the fog might clear up!!" He asserted as their was a hint of anger in his tone. "Are you saying the titans will wait until then?" I argued back, I was right you can never predict the future. He looked down but after he looked at me again with desperation.
