The light you brought me

Chapter 1: Alluka..?

"ANOTHER ROUND!" A certain spiked haired man said as he swayed his empty glass around.

The bartender sighed, "Come on gon, this is your 5th bottle of whiskey already, cool it."

Gon growled, "J..just give me...the dame, bottle already..kenji..."

Kenji shook his head and snatched the bottle of whiskey away from Gon's hand. Gon whined and slumped over the table in defeat.

"I'm doing this for your own good, you can't just drown yourself in cheap booze and whiskey just to make yourself feel better Gon..." kenji said cleaning a small shot glass as he looked sadly at the miserable human slumped back over the table.

"Yeah...I know that..."

Gon said taking his last shot of the night. He tried to stand up but he feel back down into his seat.

"You know, if you don't have anyone to take you home. I could take you after my shift ends, or I could ask a friend to take you home." Kenji suggested.

Gon shook his head, "No it's alright, I can go by myself."

Kenji sighed, "Alright then Gon take care, I have to get back to work."

All the spiked haired man did was nod and rested his head onto his arms.

That's when he heard it.

"Gon...? Is that you?"

He heard from behind, a very familiar voice in fact.

He turned his head to see two light sapphire blue eyes starring at his.

"Alluka...?" He said as the blurry figure approached him.

"What are you doing in a place like this? And are you drunk?" She asked with a worried tone.

"Alluka...? What are yo..you... doing here?" He asked as she helped him off his seat.

"I was just walking by until I saw you here, also you look pretty wasted. So is it fine if I bring you home with me...?"

She said as both of them walked into the city streets. But he didn't reply, his eyes became heavy and his ability to walk was fading. Then everything went black...

The birds chirped and the sunlight through the thin curtains hit the tan boys face, he sleepily fluttered his eyes open. But that came with a loud banging in his head causing him to groan in pain, but as the pain ceased he looked at his surroundings...

He wasn't home, "where the hell am I?"

That's when he remembered alluka, he stood up from bed and looked around the nicely decorated apartment.

The smell of French toast filled his noise, and the smell....of something burning...

He then heard a loud shriek from the kitchen, he ran to see if Alluka was alright. When he finally saw what was going on he could help but laugh a bit.

The pan was on fire and a panicked alluka was running all over the place trying to figure out how to put it out.  He made his way to pan and placed it into the sink.  He then turned the faucet on and watched as the flames were put to rest.

he looked at the teary eyed alluka and patted her head. He took the roll of cooking the bacon and eggs.

Once Gon finished, he put the bacon and eggs, along with the French toast in two plates and placed them on the table. They sat there eating in silence until alluka finally spoke.

"Where have you been all this time Gon? Ever since you and big brother...separated everyone's lost all contact with you..."

She said, Gon smiled.

"Hm, well...I've been taking some time off to myself and...traveling the world by myself." Gon half lied to which alluka saw right through.

"Stop lying, I saw you at that bar! You looked so miserable and sad! Please tell me what happened, I can get big brother to-"

"ALLUKA!...please, I told you I've been fine." He said standing up.

"Thank you for the breakfast Alluka, but I really must get going..."

Gon said leaving the apartment in a rush. He went back to roaming the streets again, lonely and...

"WAIT FOR ME!" He heard Allukas voice in the distance from behind him. He stopped and looked back to see the raven haired girl running towards him with a large bag of traveling essentials.

"Alluka, what are you doing?" He asked flabbergasted.

"I'm coming with you! I haven't seen Most of the world you know!" She winked a bit.

"But haven't you already traveled with Killua?" Gon asked.

"I have, but he's only showed me a small portion of it!" She grumbled crossing her arms.

Gon couldn't help but chuckle...

"I see..but where is he now?" He asked.

"Well, after a few years of traveling and living together, I wanted to travel by myself for a while because I was strong and old enough, so me and big brother....we parted ways. And to be honest, it's become lonely without him. So that's why I wanna travel with you! So neither of us would feel lonely!"

She smiled hopefully that Gon would say yes... and to her wishes.

"Alright I suppose you can travel with me." He smiled faintly at the girl.

Allukas eyes brightened, she ran and hugged Gon.

"AHH! THANK YOU SO MUCH GON-KUN!" She screamed in excitement. Gon smiled...

"Let's travel all around the world together!"

And In just like that, the both of them began their small journey....
