Rosaline never quite understood why her parents hated the Capulets. She never understood the lectures she was subjected to when she 'strayed too far from home'. But most of all, she never understood why it had to affect her, so when a few of her friends told her they were breaking into the Capulets' upcoming party, well, who was she to say no?
Besides, their daughter was pretty.
Rosaline herself knew very little about the Capulets' only child, except that she was 1) very pretty and 2) engaged. But a girl can dream. And hey, maybe she'd run into the famed Romeo her parents wouldn't shut up about.
'Yo, Ro, we're gonna be late if you don't get your ass down here.' A voice called out, pulling her from her thoughts. Reluctantly, she exited the comfort of her bedroom and went to meet the only two people who were dumb enough to come up with this idea, and the evil smiles she was met with set a pit in her stomach.
Maybe this was a bad idea.
