Chapter One : apologies accepted

LILIA STOOD AT THE FRONT DOOR AS SHE LOOKED at her older sister, who was shocked

"Lilia I can't believe your here," said Brenda as she hugged her sister "I thought you meant what you said two years ago," said Brenda as she pulled away "you sounded serious,"

"I was serious up until 4 months ago, I was going to come visit for spring break but I had last minute plans with some friends," said Lilia as she smiled "is anyone home besides you?"

"Yeah Brandon's at work," laughed Brenda as she grabbed one of Lilia's bag as she brought it in "I was about to head to the Beverly Hills beach club with Dylan want to come?"

"I don't know I kinda feel tired out from my flight, is it ok if I don't go?" Asked Lilia "besides I need a shower,"

Brenda chuckled

"Sure but tomorrow your coming with me to meet my friends," said Brenda "mom should be home from the markets in a bit,"

"Ok," said Lilia as she walked upstairs, Brenda was about to leave when another voice startled her

"Where do I set my stuff?"

"Oh you can just sit it in my room, there's no extra room in this house," Said Brenda

"Ok thanks,"

A few hours has passed and Lilia was unpacking her stuff with the help of Brenda and her best friend Kelly.

"How many coats did you pack?" Asked Kelly as she held up a puff coat that Lilia owned

"It's better to be prepared," said Lilia as she grabbed a hold of her jacket out of Kelly's hold

"Yeah but this is Beverly Hills... it doesn't get cold," Said Kelly

"Yeah but I like to be prepared then unprepared," said Lilia as she placed her jacket on a hanger, as she did that a figure walked into a room

"I thought I heard a familiar voice,"

"Brandon!" Said Lilia as she hugged her big brother, who hugged her back

"It's been a while, does mom and dad know your here?"

"No but we're going to tell them," said Lilia "I hope he's not still mad at me,"

"I doubt that's he's mad, you really hurt him on what you said," said Brenda, Kelly who was confused pipped in

"Wait what happened?"

"Me and my dad got into a fight because I didn't want to leave Minnesota," said Lilia as she finished unpacking "but I'm here to make a new start, so give me a chance if you will,"

"Well I'm glad that your here," said Brenda as she hugged her little sister "finally I get to share a room with my baby sister,"

"What on earth is going on in here?" Asked a feminine voice, everyone look to see who it was,

"Mom?" Asked Lilia

"Lilia Anne Walsh is that you?" Asked Cindy as she stared at her daughter before giving her a hug "you look.."

"Different? I know, Brenda already told me earlier,"

"Does your father know your here?" Asked Cindy as she pulled away from the hug

"No but-"

"Honey your father will be glad to see you, now he's downstairs in the living room why don't you go down and say hi?"

Lilia nodded her head before walking out of her and Brenda's shared room with her mother before heading downstairs, when she got downstairs she saw her father sitting on the couch as he had papers in front of him.

Lilia looked at Cindy before sighing as she walked over to him,

"Dad.."

As Lilia said that Jim looked up, when he did he saw a face that he thought he would never see again

"Lilia?"

"I'm sorry for what happened," said Lilia as she sat down in a chair that was next to the couch

"I accept your apology, how did you get here? Does aunt Linda know your here?"

"Yeah she isn't thrilled about the whole thing as she enjoyed my company but I only did it so I can be close to my real family,"

"Well welcome home Lilia, your always welcome here," said Jim as he stood up as he held his arms out waiting for his youngest daughter to hug him

Lilia hesitated for a moment before giving in as she gave her father a hug After a few moments they pulled away from the hug

"Now since there's no room in this house you and Brenda are having to share a room,"

"That's fine with me," said Lilia "I'm just glad to be home,"

"So am I," said Cindy as she placed a comforting hand on Lilia's arm before embracing her in a hug

"But I'm only here until I graduate high school, then I'm going to look for my own place,"

"There's no need to do that, you are always welcome here," said Cindy "now finish unpacking, dinner will be ready in a Few minutes,"

Lilia nodded her head before walking upstairs, she was glad to be home
