* Rileys Pov *

I was sleeping fondly when my alarm went off. Yesterday I didn't go to school, yes for some part to escape my thoughts about Miss. Adams but also I may have caught a cold because of the rain.

I was still sick but I needed to go to school I needed my grades to stay high. Every time I think about school I get sad, my mom wont be able to see me graduate.

I really miss her, sometimes I wonder if she would be proud of me for taking the same career choice as her, she was one of my pillars and now I just have one that's really far away from me.

My second alarm went off and if I didn't get ready I was going to be late again, I for sure don't want that detention not that I would mind Miss. Adams company but I also don't want her to hate me.

Today I decided to take my car and I know that it will catch everyone's eyes. And this is just one more of my antics to get Miss. Adams to notice me, even if I know that she won't probably care, and just think of me as one more rich kid.

Maybe I should match the car and go all in black, so I ended up picking up all black skinny jeans, a black top, black leather boots, black leather jacket. My third alarm went off and I had to run to brush my teeth and then back down to my car.

Okay, let's go, Riley, you can do this! She doesn't bite. I said out loud to myself. I went to school listening to some Milky Chance.

When I arrived at school I could feel all eyes on me, I made my way to my usual spot and that's when I notice that Miss. Adams's car was just behind my own. She came all the way from her house behind me. And I looked like a slow ass fucking bitch. I swear someone kill me, please.

I parked my car and she parked right beside me. And the first thing I heard her say almost made me run and get on a plane.

Why the fast car if you drive like a grandma? She asked with an attitude that would put five-year-old kids to shame.

 I'm pretty sure I still have ten minutes until the class starts. I said looking her straight in the eye trying to give her the same attitude and failing miserably.

I think that I will accept that answer I guess. She said while looking me up and down and I swear that I saw a smirk on her face. Did she just check me out?
