"Your island?" Asked Larry.
"Yes." Replied George curtly, "And I don't want them going there."
"Neither do we," said Fatty.
"Why?" Asked Julian.
"Because we believe they're mixed up in some sort of criminal plot," he replied.
"Ooh, another adventure!" Said Anne excitedly.
"Another mystery!" Exclaimed Bets.
"You've been mixed up in more things like this?" Julian asked Fatty.
"Yes, many..." he replied. They all exchanged knowing glances - maybe they could help each other out in this...
"I think that if we work together on this we can stop those criminals at whatever they're doing," said Julian.
"I agree," replied Fatty. So, the five find outers began to tell their new friends all that had happened since they arrived at Dunham Hall.
"Well," began George, "isn't it obvious what we've got to do?" Anne and Bets looked up excitedly. "We must row to Kirrin Island at once!"
"Slow down old thing!" Julian said, "We can't just go right away, we need to get food and well, there isn't enough time left for proper exploration today." George sighed and Bets and Anne looked disappointed.
"Well, I say let's meet here first thing tomorrow with food and picnic blankets," Daisy said to everyone's agreement.
