(Look, I'm so sorry about the recent, long delay of updating. My phone was burned out and I needed a new battery.)

Sovire's POV

The smell of smoke woke me up. I looked up to see Jocoleyn covered in ashes. I started to freak out and try to get out the seat, but I was stuck. Well, the belt was. I started calling him for help.

"Jocoleyn! Jocoleyn, get up! Help!" I tried saying, but I was speaking in German. I kept calling for him to get up, but he didn't.

Jocoleyn's POV

It was like an eternal void, just floating in black. I did hear someone speaking in German. My vision went blurry, then I woke up. I groaned and shook myself, then coughed a few times. I saw Sovire struggling to pull her seatbelt, so I limped over and literally bit at the leather. I managed to tear a strip of it off, then the whole belt itself. Sovire smiled and hugged me tightly.

"I thought you were dead." Sovire said to me, and I smiled.

"It would take a lot to kill me, you know that." I spat the seatbelt out and grinned.

"Well, where ever we are will definitely have that much." Sovire looked around and shielded her eyes from the sun. "Where the heck are we?"

My grin turned into a frown as I looked at the helicopter.

"Well, what bad news." I looked up and back to the helicopter.

Sovire was pulling at her clothes violently, dusting off the ashes and few flames.

"Why are we being cooked?" She asked me. I kind of laughed and twitched, feeling ash run down my back.
