Chapter 8 | Hero

Fuck that shit was so loud
I groan and check my phone.
10:42am
No way I got this much sleep oh god thank you so much. Even if I woke up 3 hours ago. I never slept till 10.
I scroll through Instagram and no ducking way!
She actually posted. Josephine actually posted.
Wow she had a lot of likes not like me of course but wait- she's in London!? What the hell does her caption mean? Is she single? Is she moving here? Permanently?
I see Felix's comment. Next thing I know I'm clicking his contact and calling his phone.
"Yea yea man wassup" he says loud.
"Dude where the hell are you? A daycare? It's so loud man?" I say louder.
"Oh yea man, I'm definitely at a daycare....I'm going to meet up with some friends" he tells
"Friends like who? Josephine?" I spit
The call goes quiet for a second.
"No man, uhh- my girl" he lies.
"Say man, you don't have to lie, she's your friend too I guess" I say calmly.
"Dude I wanted to tell you but she didn't even want to meet up and was worried about how you feel, it's my fault man"
"I said it's fine, I don't care about her or whatever. She can do what she pleases."
"If you don't care about her then why do you have her notifications on and why'd you come at me like that? You know you don't mean it."
He's right, I do care about her and care about what she does, she could've been on her period and I would still want to know.
"Yea whatever. Enjoy your meet up."
I hang up before he can say anything else. He is her friend probably her only friend since she's gotten here, but why do I feel like this.
"Oh fuck me" I say to myself.
I need to take my mind off of her.
I go to brush my teeth and take a shower.
When leave the room I hear a knock on my door I walk across the living room and go into the walk way to open it.
A long hair brunette with blonde tips is in front of my door, Leah....she can't stay away can she.
"What do you want leah" I ask her.
"Oh I'm just bringing back your stuff" she says while coming in...uninvited.
"Ok you could've just left them downstairs with Walter" I say.
She bends over and puts my clothes down on the coffee table.
God that skirt is short. Cmon man get a grip.
"Oh come on Hero, I know you miss me and I'm ready to move past what you said to me yesterday, also sorry for slapping you" she beams.
"I don't think you understand Leah-" I start to explain but she cuts me off.
She drags and tries to throw me on the couch but somehow I end up on it.
She walks towards me and sits on my lap.
"I know you wanna fuck me, Hero" she says while taking my hand to caress her hard nipple.
Say something dude.
"I-"
I need something to take my mind off of everything and as bad as it sounds Leah is the reasonable one.
"Fuck it" I say taking off her shirt.

As Kiana is telling me her stories about being a flight attendant. I get a message from Felix saying he's already at the cafe we decided to meet him at it's called "Cafe flora" that's so cute ughh. I text him telling him we passed a book store I should check it out soon and right when I look up we're already outside the cafe.
"Is this the place?" I ask dumbly.
"Yup, me and my boyfriend come here all the time, it's actually how we met" she beams.
When we walk in I see someone turn around.
It's Felix, but he looks shocked. So I look over to Ki and she's shocked too...am I missing something here?
"Felix??!" Kiana beams and jumps towards him.
"Kiana?" He says trying to hold her tall figure.
Before Kiana can introduce us. I pull him in for a hug.
"Im confused? You guys know each other how?" I ask.
"This is my girl Jo. Keep up." He says playfully scoffing.
"And this is my idiotic boy." She says beaming at him still.
The more I look at them the more they look perfect for each other. So cute, hopefully they stay together forever.
Turns out when Felix was describing how his girlfriend looked it literally matched how Kiana looked, dyed curly hair , fair skin, cute smile, and a mole on the top of her lip. But I didn't remember her having freckles on the plane it was kinda dark.
We leave the cafe and start driving towards my job, I have to remember the route especially since I'm gonna be alone tomorrow.
"So Jojo, what made you move here..out of all the places" he says with suspicion.
"Well it's a long story but my boss said I can make something of myself and basically sent me here to headquarters to start" I explain.
"Are you sure" he says pushing it.
"Felix leave her alone before I kick you on the side of the road" Ki tells him.
"Jeez ok, chill and it's my car" he says.
I start laughing. Kiana does seem like the type of person to kick you on the side of the road and take your own car.
We pull up to this big colorful 4 story building, much bigger than the one in LA. The words "Angelic" are spaced out at the top of the building. I heard they shine when it gets dark at certain time.
"Wow it's so big" Kiana beams.
Felix looks at her and gives her a smirk. Seriously I'm in the back seat dude.
She playfully slaps his chest. I miss times like this with Hero.
"Wow Jojo looks like your gonna be making stacks" Felix says.
"I hope so" I sigh.
