I walk down the halls till I reach the back exit. I slip out the door avoiding any gaurds. I start to

walk through the woods, taking the red bird out of my cape when we're far enough away, I watch as it flies around my head and through the trees. I can't help but smile. We reach a market I'm kind of hungry maybe I could stop and eat something. Rascal flies back into my cape as we walk into town. People look at me some glares other in fear, it's not everyday you see the right hand man of the emperor in a simple town like this unless someone is hiding a

fugetive. I stop at a small store it's basically empty. I walk over to one of the shelf and pick up a water. I find another section of the store and see sunflower seeds my uncle told me about them there from the human realm they are seeds and you can eat them i find it odd. lets try it. I reach to grab one of the bags but someone beats me to it I look up and see the owl lady. "Golden guard did you want these" she said in a mocking tone. I roll my eyes but she can't see

because of my mask. "Fine whatever" I walk over to another section of the store and grab a bag of bird seed for rascal and a chocolate candy for me. I walk up to the front but I'm stopped by someone grabbing my shoulder. I turn around and see the owl lady and Lilith. "Golden guard what brings you to this neck of the woods?" Lilith says "its none of your bussissnes because i could easliy take you two in right now but i wont because I'm off dutty" I say

using the same mocking tone as the owl lady used before. I pull away and pay for my stuff, I walk out of the shop and start to stroll back down the path I came from, when I felt like someone was following me. I look behind me to see the clawthorn sisters following me. I stop in my track "what is your problem can't i be left alone" I say to the two women. They look at eachother before answering. "Im sorry but we don't exactly trust you" I ignore them and

keep walking i cant wait for them to get caught. I've been walking for the past hour and I think I'm lost. I sit on a log and pull out some bird seed for rascal. He flies and sits next to me I watch him eat feeling the wind in my hair. I can't remember the last time I relaxed it's so calming, That was till someone knocked me over. "Ow!" that" he says and helps me up. I groan, I don't usually take off my mask but I'm worried this dumbass bruised something since a sharp pain can be felt on my head. feel my face heat up after he called me Goldie. I shake my head and grab rascal and walk back in the direction I think is the castle. once I arrive I fall on my bed. what is this feeling I'm feeling. "ugh" I sight into a pillow. It doesn't matter I'm never going to see that boy again......
