When tanjiro realized it he was apologizing to Zenitsu but when Zenitsu saw him be blushed like a new ripe tomato (LOLOL) everyone did. Zenitsu apologized then help tanjiro to climb up they were talking until the twins came and the female blushed slightly at the sight of tanjiro but shaked it off then explained the final selection...
Tanjiro was seen chasing a demon with sun breathing trying to get some info to found out who killed his family.
Tanjiro then saw a hand demon eating and chasing some kids so he interfered by cutting the demon's hand using

Tanjiro uses flash waltz then kills the demon as quick as possible.
Tanjiro then goes away to kill some more..
All survivors or rather 16 of them got to the final selection final place....
