The Best friend

Before everything happened.

{1010 AD}

"I'm Going to catch you Henrik" I shout chasing Henrik around the village "You shall never catch me Kendria" he shouts back "Come on Kendria, Henrik. Niklaus and Elijah are fighting again" Rebeckah shouts, We all run to watch.

"Oh look, our sister and Kendria have arrived to watch my fast-approaching victory!" Elijah gloated "Whomever wins the battle gets a kiss on the cheek," I say "On the contrary Elijah..." Niklaus says then swings his sword and slices Elijahs' belt "they've come to laugh at you! and you Kendria Owe me a kiss" Niklaus says in victory as we all begin laughing at Elijah's defeat I walk up to Niklaus and give him a kiss on the cheek. It was obvious to all Niklaus had always fancied The Bennet girl, Wether he admitted it or not.

Esther and Mikael approach as we are all laughing with each other, then Mikael approaches the boys, and the laughter dies down. Mikael turns to Elijah and takes his sword and turns back to Niklaus

"So, why don't you teach me that trick, Young warrior" Mikeal states and starts sword fighting Klaus And then  Klaus Dodges his swing "Father we were just having fun," Niklaus says Mikael continues swinging his blade at Niklaus "We fight for our survival! And you find time for fun!? I want to have fun! Come on! Teach me!" Mikael shouts and disarms Niklaus with a swing of his sword and slices My Cheek I bounce back in fear, Kol notices and gives me an alarming look so does Henrik "Fine." I say reassuring them I am fine and they look away "Father it was nothing" While The Boy and The man Argue I look at barrel filled with Blades without thinking I walk over to the barrel grab one and walk up to Mikael I pull him back and put the sword to his neck "Always watch your back Mikeal" I spoke then he flipped me around so he was around me with his sword on my neck "Father" Kol warned I look around to make sure nobody was looking apart from the mikealsons "Motus" I mumble and Mikeal goes flying back leaving a cut all down my neck I grab hold of my neck and fall down

{A Few hours later}

I'm sleeping in my bed when all of a sudden some twigs snap Waking me up I go to look to see what it is, being careful of the beasts as it is a full moon "Klaus?" I question, Then I see the 11-year-old "Klaus" I say stern and full of anger "Care to explain where you are going on the night of a full moon with Henrik" I ask with my voice full of anger "We are going to see the Man turn to beast" Henrik says I give Klaus a what the fuck Look "No. Absolutely not" I shut down the idea "Please" they both plead "Fine Go But I better see you both back here by the Morning," I demand "Thank you Kendria," Niklaus says and runs into the woods with Henrik "I'm so going to regret that," Whispering to myself and going back to sleep my throat still sore from the incident.

{Morning}

I'm cutting the Carrots when I hear somebody shout "MOTHER!!" I run out because I recognize the voice and worrying something bad has happened once I realise that its Klaus, running with a body in his arms "Don't you dare tell me that's who I think that is Niklaus!" I shout he runs over to me and lays the body down I take a look and gasp "no, Please Niklaus tell me that isn't him" I say tears starting to spill out of my eyes I try a few spells but nothing seems to work I look at Klaus I stand up and step back a few steps and bump into somebody "Kendria, what's wrong" I hear Kol say I just turn around and hug him whilst I sob into his chest allowing him to look over and see his younger brothers dead body lying on the ground he then joins me in the sobbing I then push his grip away and start running I don't know where I'm running to but I'm just going to keep running and running and running.

I've stopped running and Not knowing where I am I just want to scream, Henri,s dead, he is my best friend, was my best friend, looking around not seeing anybody , I scream ,I scream as loud as I can and trees fall down and the wind blows firm a liquid trickles down my face I start to feel light-headed then everything starts to blur hearing somebody call my name the voice starts to go quite muffles and then everything else goes black.

-Elijah's POV-

I see Kendria start to run so I chase after her she's like my sister I can't let her get hurt, she doesn't stop running and once she stops, she looks around so I hide behind a tree hoping she doesn't see me,  she doesn't. the girl then lets out a blood curdling scream once she stops I run to Kendria to see blood trickling down her face from her nostrils I start calling out her name she looks around confused then she drops I catch the brunette I view as a sister just in time picking her up bridal style and start running back to the village "MOTHER" I shout she comes out worried then she sees Kendria in my arms with blood coming down her nose she runs over "Mikael!" she shouts he comes round looks at the girl in my arm in shock and takes her out of my grip and puts her down on the ground so Esther can do a spell

- Back to kendrias pov-

I shot up and then somebody hugged me tightly "Hello to you too, Kol" I said and that moment there is when I became the first-ever vampire to live.
