Seojun's life was a mess. His best friend had died, he had dumped his girlfriend, he had dropped out of school for a month or so to look after his mom, and whilst he wasn't visiting her in hospital, he was looking after Gowoon and attending any photoshoot he could get for money.
But he didn't mind it. All he wanted was for his mom to get better and if that meant him dropping everything to go and help her, he would do it without a question. He needed to take his mind off other things as well. He was around Lee Suho too much, which just made him angry, and so, so sad. Seyeon could've been there - he should've been there, but he wasn't.
And Seojun was just supposed to deal with that. Deal with the fact that Suho hadn't picked up his phone and his father had done absolutely nothing to fight against the online comments and rumours that pushed Seyeon to commit suicide.
There was too much going on, but almost a year later from when the awful reality of his life set in, a month on from when his mom needed to be committed to hospital before having her operation and started to feel well enough, there seemed to be a new feeling in his life. A little more freedom.
His return to school had been set in place, but with an actual date in mind the reality came to life. He would have to see Suho again, he would have to see Yeori again, and he would have to deal with the guilt that followed both of them again.
