Practice was already over and I was exhausted. At least us ducks won again. As I was taking off my gear, Julie and Connie walked in.
"Hey Y/n." Julie and Connie both said.
"Hey guys."
"So, when are you going to tell him?" Connie said wiggling her eyebrows.
"Tell him?"
"She means Luis, Y/n! You know, how you have a huge crush on him!" Julie yelled out.
"I know I know! I was just messing with you guys! Of course Luis!" I laughed.
I sighed, "I don't know when. But, when the time is right. I can't just walked up to Luis and tell him I like him just like that." I spoke clearly.
"Fine, then Julie and I can just tell him."
"WAIT- NO!" I said. "Don't worry, we won't tell him." Julie assured me. I took off the rest of my gear and put on my clothes. Julie and Connie did the same.
~Time Skip~
We all went to the beach to just relax and have fun. Julie, Connie, and I set down our beach towels and sat down to soak up the sun.
"Goldberg!" I heard Goldberg's name being yelled by all the boys.
"What? We all pee in the ocean!" Goldberg claimed.
"What did he do now?" I asked.
"Peed in the ocean again." Connie said. We all snickered and laughed.
From the distance, I catch Luis staring at me. "Go talk to dream boy." Julie pushed me. "Noo.... I don't wanna. What if he doesn't need the same way?" I whined. "Y/n, I know Luis. He definitely has feelings for you. Unless, you want Julie and I to tell him."
"No no!" I waved my hands at them. "Then go then girl. Come on, we know you can do this." Connie and Julie have me big smiles and I decided to just get up.
"Atta girl!" Julie exclaimed.
"Okay, but just stay here okay guys?" I took a deep breath, "Finally time I tell Luis how I feel about him."
I watch Luis play with boys with some sort of orange frisbee. You know, throwing it then one of them catches it. Then they do the same thing over and over again.
My feet felt good with the warm sand in between my toes. It was the best feeling ever. With every step I took, butterflies overtake my stomach. Luis sits down to take a break from the game and takes a drink of water from his bottle. I thought that this would bema good time to sit down next to him and have a little friendly chat with him.
