You and doja have been friends sense you guys were kids, your mom and her mom were practically sisters. But unfortunately that all ended when doja moved when you guys were 15.

Flashback 10 years ago your POV
"Hey doja what's happening" I said looking at a huge moving truck "me and my family are moving" doja said looking away, I could tell she was sad "oh" was all I managed to get out because of how sad I was. Suddenly doja ran up to me and hugged me as tight as she could "I really hope we see each other again" I said "we will I promise".

I woke up to something heaving on my body, I sat up and realized it was just my cat sumo "good morning sumo" I said as I pet him, he just meowed. I got up and went to my kitchen, sumo followed after me I turned on the stove and made (favorite breakfast food) . I started eating, while I was eating I got a call. "Hello" I said "hey y/n we need you to come into work today" my boss said I rolled my eyes "I can't I'm *cough cough* sick (boo you whore also if you know we're this is from let's be friends) "oh well I guess I'll have to call in jessie" my boss said "alright bye" I said while looking down at sumo.

After you showered and got dressed still your POV
Me and sumo left the house to go on a walk (yall live in LA btw and yes I'm aware it's weird to takes cats one walks😭) I bumped into someone. "Oh I'm sorry-" I said then I looked up and realized it was her" "holy shit it's you" I said wide eyed "yea do I know you" doja said "oh come on you don't remember me" I said. She stared at me super confused "oh you really don't remember me it's me y/n" I said "is it really you" she said "no I'm just some rando bitch who knows your childhood bestie" I said rolling my eyes. I hugged her "how's life been" I asked her "its been good my music career sky rocketed" she said "omg I know I'm so proud of you" I said looking at her with a big bright smile". Doja went down to pet sumo "he is so CUTE" she said "how old is he" she asked while looking at me "he's about to turn 3 I've hade him sense he was just a lil kitten" I said. "Wanna come to my house" I asked while looking at her again "sure I'd love to" doja said
