Chapter 17

3rd person POV
Sunday , 9AM

Sadly, their sleepover came to an end, and it was time for them to head back home. [Y/N] and Kageyama packed their things in their bags, said their goodbyes to the mini orange head, and started walking home together.

"See, this sleepover wasn't so bad after all right Kageyama-kun?" [Y/N] smiles

"no" kageyama says, emotionless

"Aw c'mon don't lie! I know you had fun!"

"no"

"Are you that shy to admit that you had fun?"

"no"

"Damn someone woke up grumpy"

"no"

... and that was basically their whole conversation during their walk together.

When they finally arrive at [L/N]'s house, [Y/N] thanks Kageyama for walking her home and started walking to her door.. until Kageyama grabbed her hand.

[Y/N] was confused so she turned around.

"hm? what is it?" she asks

silence

"c'mon lemme go or just spill it already i'm hungry " she whines but is still curious.

"... if you ever need someone to talk to.. i'm here.. not that i'm the best person to talk about feelings but .. you know.." Kageyama mumbles silently, but it was loud enough for her to her, she was suprised.

She smiles and softly hugs him

"Thank you Kageyama you're really nice " she pulls away , and walks to her door.

"Bye Kageyama-kun!" she smiles more and waves

He simply leaves without saying anything.

"...just some seconds ago you were being so cute and now you act like this? damn." she laughs and enters her house.

11PM

*DING*

[Y/N] gets startled by the sudden sound and then she thinks to herself that probably Emiko texted her one of those weird random messages she usually sends at night before going to sleep, but, just to make sure, she checked who texted her... and it was a goodnight text from Kageyama.

Her heart stopped... but then started to beat really fast and her cheeks were becoming red  of just how cute he is sometimes.

Just a friendly reminder , he normally doesn't do that, so that's why she reacted that way.
