"You sure I can't stay," I begged for the third time. Once we had gotten back on the boat, each day passed in a blink of an eye. He shook his head again, sighing.
"I'm sorry. It just won't work."
(I alway space my other stories but this one I don't and I keep forgetting XD)
I frowned again, crossing my arms. It's been only a week since he killed his dad. Now he's saying I can't stay? And that I have to go back?
"I know I'm not immortal. But at least let me stay another month at most," I continued. He took both my hands, pulling me slightly closer.
"I would if I could. The longer you stay though that harder it'll be for you to leave," he said quietly. I couldn't agree, I shouldn't and I won't.
"Just another day," my voice cracked. No, I shouldn't break down again.
"We're already here. We're risking of being caught," I knew he was trying to protect the both of us. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, trying to calm myself. I felt him press a kiss on my temple, then a small one on my lips.
"I wish I could find a way to stay," I mumbled quietly, still not looking. I heard him sigh and pull his hands from mine, now having them around my waist.
"I know," that's all he said.

--Hours later--

I walked down the deck that I knew so well. No one was ported, or on shore. It was awfully quiet in the kingdom I left, er, had to leave, a year ago. Spending that long of a time with them made me forget how peaceful it was here.
I was still upset over the whole ordeal. Me being 'mortal' and all. Means I'd age and they wouldn't. Great. So it meant I needed to go back, for a 'better' life. I'd rather be out there at sea.
I looked back, seeing the ship docked away off. Just faintly I could see Sky on the crows nest. I took in a deep breath, continuing my way up to the gates.
I didn't know what to expect either. Would I be given a warm welcome? Or would they hunt and kill them down? Could I tell them about the death of an enemy? Or have them find out? A million questions raced through my head.
I paused once again at the main door, just staring at the wood. Turning on my heels, I checked again to the sea. Calm, not a ship in sight.
Finally, I opened the doors.

Also never be afraid to comment on old chapters. Say what should of been done or just saying 'good' is good enough for me haha. Phones still broken. Ugh.
I SEE THAT WE HAVE REACHED 2K COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT ALL YOU AMAZING PEOPLE!! Next goal is 2.5 and I'll make an announcement (◕‿◕✿)
