"What are Tri-Songs"

Romulus sighed in exasperation.

"Are you sure you want to know?" He asked.

"Yes." Almost everyone said in unison.

"Alright." Romulus took a deep breath.

Here we go.

"The Tri-Songs are the most powerful songs in existence." He began, "They are also the oldest songs, for the Tri-Song Primes were created when the different realms of this universe was created. They also made Ardonia using their own powers-"

"Wait," Amber interrupted, "You are talking about them as though they are sentient."

"Because they are."

Everyone just starred at him, with wide eyes.

"There is a reason why so few Ardoni have had the chance to wield them." Romulus continued, "Because they weren't chosen by the Tri-Songs."

"How did you find them then?" Abbigail asked.

"My grandfather, Vorimor Voltaris was clan master at the time. They were found in a chamber not far from here, that contained all of the Tri-Songs, including the Primes. Upon reading the ancient scrolls found within the chamber, he ordered them all to be destroyed. When they tried to destroy the Primes however, they found that using ordinary songs, didn't work so they then tried the four remaining Tri-Songs, thinking that maybe ordinary Tri-Songs could destroy the Tri-Song Primes. When it failed, we thought it safe to assume they are indestructible, which is when they made another discovery."

Romulus looked down.

"That once infused, unlike normal songs, when you can switch one song out for another, or remove one completely. The Tri-Songs will only separate after the host has died. After that, they decided that the eight remaining Tri-Songs shouldn't be destroyed. My grandfather then infused with the Tri-Song Primes, so the knowledge of their discovery will not spread."

He turned to look at the ruins.

"Then, we discovered the Prime Songs. My grandfather saw the danger they posed to both the Voltaris, and the other clans, and ordered them to be destroyed. But the corruption of the Prime Songs reached farther then we thought. When we attempted to destroy them, a group of Ardoni warriors from all the clans, mainly Nestoris, slaughtered all of those who were trying to destroy the Primes. They started framing us. When he saw it was too late, my grandfather gave the title of master to his eldest son, Dominus Voltaris. After that he, his family, and thirty other Voltaris, took the four Tri-Songs, and came here. After seventy years of living here, he died. The decision was made that to make sure the Tri-Song Primes would remain hidden for as long as possible, they would be infused to one of the children."

Romulus look at the crowd of faces, some looked horrified, some looked betrayed, and some looked disbelieving. But no matter what, they all had some range of emotion on their face.

"One by one, the Tri-Song Primes didn't chose them, till me."

He stopped abruptly.

"That is all you need to know."

"So those songs in that cave...they were-" Amber began.

"Yes, they were the four remaining Tri-Songs." Romulus answered.

Senn glanced at the other masters. Bethhorn beckoned for him to get closer.

"This is a startling new discovery." Bethhorn remarked.
