8: No Effing Way!! [EDITED]

*Ayumi's POV*

As me and Naruto went back to the real world, I look around and saw that I'm in the forest. I look at my pocket and smirk at myself. Just got that scroll luckily.

I rush all the way back to the basement finding the akatsuki members nowhere to be found. They must be on the mission I guess.

I went to Pein's office as I saw him busy with some stuffs. He stop working as he look up to me and smirk. I toss him the scroll as he easily caught it with his right hand.

"Good job, Ayumi. You did it." He said. I just smiled at him and bowed. I was about to leave when Pein spoke. "Summon Hidan and Kakuzu. They'll be on a mission." I just nodded leaving him continuing his work. I work my way to the living room finding Hidan and Kakuzu. Of course, I saw Kakuzu and Hidan always together so I find it easy that much.

"Kakuzu, Hidan!! Pein-sama wants to see you~!" I chimed. Kakuzu just sighed while Hidan grunted.

"Great. Another f*cking mission to deal with." He mumbled as they walk away leaving me and Deidara on the room. 

"What now?" I asked.

"I feel lonely without Sasori-danna, un."

"I know right." I sighed to myself going back to my room and started to read some books about sharingan and it's uses.

It's starting to get night. Konan said that I'll be the one who'll cook for dinner since she have some things to do. I walk through the kitchen and started to search what's inside the fridge. I found squids, vegetables, meats and some ingredients in the fridge. Maybe I should go for Takoyaki and miso soup.

I started with my takoyaki. While making it, I felt someone behind. And guess what? It's Deidara of course.

"So what's the dinner for today?" He asked.

"I am thinking of takoyaki and miso soup of that's fine with you guys?" I asked as I mix some ingredients for the sauce.

"Not bad." I saw him sitted on the chair so I have no choice but cook fast.

The food is ready and the akatsuki are here to eat.

"This is actually delicious, Ayumi!! I like it!!" Kisame complimented. I just giggled at him.

"Thank you."

And silence emerged again. Hidan and Kakuzu are not yet around and I have a bad feeling about this. This time, I think someone will die. But I can't pinpoint who... Yet.

I wash the dishes go to my room and meditate. I don't want to look for the future. The future might change due to the present time. But my guess that Kakuzu or either Hidan will die. I know Hidan is immortal as he says and Kakuzu got a lot of heart but I think one them will die or maybe even both of them?

I shrug off my thoughts and decided to sleep.

I woke up with the sun smiling at my face. It's been actually a few days the time that Hidan and Kakuzu left. I walk all the way to the living room as I found no one. I decided to cook bacon and eggs for the new. I set them on the table waited for them to come over.

Konan went in first then Kisame, Deidara, Itachi, Pein and lastly Zetsu. I wonder about Deidara's partner. And now that I've mention it, Pein is actually not telling me about their missions. He was just telling me to summon him something like that. No more. No less.

I volunteered to wash the dishes. Every member left except for Pein and Konan. I left the kitchen after washing leaving the two of them until I heard Pein spoke.

"Hidan and Kakuzu were both dead." So this is the bad feeling but one thing is something wrong too...

"What!? How?" Konan asked shocked.

"Kakashi and Naruto outnumbered Kakuzu and the Nara boy defeated Hidan." I smiled at myself as pein continued to spoke. "Luckily, they killed Asuma Sarutobi."

What...

No way...

Mom!!!

*Yes sweetie?*

Asuma-kun... Is he?

*I'm sorry sweetie but yes. He died.* She smiled at me. I walked over to Pein and he finally notice me.

"Uhmm Pein-sama?" He looked at me. "May I go for a walk?"

"Sure just be here by noon." I nodded dashing my way through Konoha. I disguise myself as the black cat I used to be. I jump from roof to roof as I look at the ceremony being held. Great, who's next then??

I felt tears streaming down my face as I can't stand the emotions anymore. I run away.  I need to be strong for them.
