first day of sophomore year, my whole life i went to the exact same catholic school from kindergarten to grade 9. My mom wanted me to switch because my ex best friends made so much drama so now im going to my very first public school, im sooo scared tho because this boy Niles i had a thing with for 2 years went to that school i regret alot of what i did for him/with him he makes me feel so sick to my stomach because of what he made me do at such a young age, but i cant completey blame him because i also did it.

I got on the bus and sat at the very front row alone my best friend was also on this bus i was scared to see what everyone will think of me i lost 60 pounds this summer and i didn't post at all so i'm worried what people will say, i know almost all the kids at my new school since we've gone to like the same events and went to middle school together. we finally pulled up to my best friends house then she ran up the stairs and go so excited and say beside me. I hadn't saw lauren since march of last year because of covid. Her jaw dropped "nessa mother fucking barrett you lost so much weight" she said with her jaw dropped "stop oh my gosh" i said laughing and smiling

laurens fit
We sat on the bus waiting till we got to school we talked alot about Niles and just our anxiety and stuff.
15 minutes later the bus stopped and i looked up from my phone.. we were already at the school i started getting super nervous and began to play with my fingers as me and lauren first got off the bus. My worst fear absolutely everyone was standing at the front of the school and i looked to the left and there was Niles watching me as tatum the guy i started randomly snapping last night jack my ex boyfriend, were on great terms and random other guys stood on there phone. "nessa stop" lauren said shoving me a bit so i stop looking at Niles "NESSA WHAT THE FUCK YOU LOOK SO GOOD" my friend blaire said hugging me "NESSA" sydney my old friend that let our catholic school for here said. Everyone came up and we all talked every person who looked at me complemented me so much.
* BELL RINGS * me and lauren had both 2 classes (quadmesters) together so we followed a random girl to our first class, i went in and sat down at a desk and lauren sat beside me.
i kept snapping tatum back in fourth because he never saw me this morning thankfully so he still thinks im some random girl, i flipped the snap from the wall and took a photo of the teacher and sent it... just seconds later i got a snap back and it said "wait wtf you go to LADCS" he said with a photo of his shoes, i sent back a photo of my face with my mask on "yeaaaa today acc" i said. He just opened it and sent back a random pic
It was about 1.5 hours later and i had left tatum on open and couldn't stop thinking about niles but i finnished my work and just when i picked up my phone the bell rung "nessa" lauren said moving towards the door "hold up oh my god" i said grabbing my bag quickly i walked to the door and started walking out with lauren "where should we go" lauren said "literally no clue im so scared i hope we dont see niles" i said pulling out my phone snapping back everyone i left on open a photo of lauren "lets just go to the main lobby and see if we can find anyone to hang with "okay" is said as we turned the hall to the main lobby, it was packed people everywhere... we got to the lobby and saw a few of Laurens friends and my child hood best friend haley "haley" i said pushing her a bit "NESSSS" haley said VERY loudly "shut up omg... come sit in the caff with us" i said standing there "kk" she said leading the way as we talked about random stuff. I grabbed a random chair and sat down lauren said infront of me haley said at the head of one side of the table and Laurens other friend sat down beside her.
We sat there talking for a bit before i heard a loud group of people walk in, someone tugged on my chair and i looked back and it was grayson one of my close friends from grade 9 "GRAY" i said standing up "nessaaaaa" he said hugging me and just as we were hugging Niles Jack Kade Tyler and 4 girls walked in together.. Niles looked at me then quickly looked away.
I sat back down and Grayson and his friends pulled up chairs and sat with us, gray sat beside me and Niles and his friends sat directly in front of us with a perfect view of me. We all took out masks off and started talking and stuff, every once in awhile i would look up at niles and this random kailey girl. "can i see your water" grayson said looking at me "sure" i said handing it to him "catch" he said throwing the water bottle across the room "grayson what the fuck" i said as everyone looked at the water bottle then back at us, i started laughing with everyone and stood up to go pick it up it was just past Niles table by a bit and i walked over and picked it up "hey catch" i said in a normal tone throwing it right at grayson as everyone watched and i ran back to the table and grayson stood up shoving me away from the table and i shoved back "oh shit ness move" gray said pulling me away from the entrance "someones tryna get in" i looked to the door and it was a tall guy he looked so hot but i didn't know who it was.
