Chapter 24: Dark to the Rescue?

[Dark's POV]

The wedding was almost here. Or it was more like renewing vows.

Link's mother and my father decided to renew their vows and it was now here. In just five days, the vow renewals would take place.

And that's five whole days to make Zelda my date.

It took about forty-five minutes to drive to Ordon, the place that makes the finest tuxedos in the entire world. Okay, I was kind if exaggerating but they do make really good suits.

I parked my car in the stores parking lot, locking it while I walked towards the entrance. Walking in, I closed the glass doors behind me and glanced around.

My eyes fell onto the person that was behind the cash register, who looked on the verge of sleeping.

I coughed loudly as he jerked up. He looked up sleepily, running his hands though his pale white hair as he stared at me with his brown eyes. "Uh, hello. My name's Robin and welcome to Ordon's Tailoring. How may I assist you?"

I smiled politely as I answered. "Sup, I'm just here to look at some of the tuxedos."

He nodded his head. "Any specific color you would like to see?"

"Uh, how 'bout black?" I asked as he nodded again.

"Sure, if you would just follow me this way." The guy, Robin, said as he lead us to a giant rack of black tuxedos. "Here we are. Just take your pick and when you're done, pay in the front."

I nodded in understanding as he walked away. Quickly, I began to skim through the racks of clothing. I grabbed a few and took them to the dressing room. Out of the four suits, I choose none.

I went back to browse though the racks again when my stomach began to rumble. Glancing down at it, I sighed. Guess I'll have to come back later then.

I walked to the front and gave the cashier guy a small smile. "Hey, bud, I'm gonna grab some lunch real quick and I'll be back."

The dude, Robin, suddenly perked up. "Hey, wait. Could I come with you?" He ignored my confused look and continued. "You see, it's not busy around here and it is lunch. Mind if I join you?"

I hesitantly nodded. "Sure."

We stalked to my car after he locked the store up, getting in and ready to leave. I looked over at him. "So, where to, Robin?"

"Eh, I don't know? I mean, it's your car, you choose."

I grinned. "Alrighty, guess we're going to the infamous Ordon Lobster House down the street."

I heard him sigh. "Okay, let's do it, man." Chuckling, I started the car and we were off.

I laughed, holding my stomach as Robin continued to tell his story. He cracked a smile. "Stop laughing, I haven't even finished the story yet." He mused, as I leaned onto the table we were seated at.

Smiling, I rolled my eyes. "Whatever-- hey! Our food's coming." I said excitedly as I saw our waiter bring the tray of food.

The waiter placed the tray of crab legs in front of me and the plate of fried shrimp for Robin. With a polite smile, he walked away, leaving Robin and I to ourselves.

We ate in silence, with the occasional small talk. He was actually a pretty decent dude and I found out he went to school with Link at SSBB High. He was new though, so he wasn't really familiar with the name.

Unlike Link, and my soon-to-be girlfriend Zelda, I went to a different school. I didn't switch like my step-brother because I actually liked my highschool.

When we finished, we payed for the food and left a pretty decent tip for the waiter.

I unarmed my car so the two of us could get in. I was about to open the car door when I saw something orange and bright from the corner of my eyes. "What the --? Is that fire?!" I heard Robin cry out.

Looking in the direction he pointed in, I saw flames of fire coming from this small house. Quickly forgetting out the car, we rushed toward the house.

"Dude! I think it's on fire!" I yelled out as we dashed.

We reached the house with small pants and ran towards the back, where the fire seemed to be coming from. "Hey, I think it's coming from back there." I said as Robin agreed.

I tried to peek over the fence but to know avail. "Let's jump the fence."

Robin's eyes widened. "What?! Why?"

"What if there's a fire. We could be the only hope and help."

Sighing he nodded. "Alright, come on, Dark."

We both climbed the unusually high wooden fence with ease, jumping down on our feet.

I froze when I heard screaming.

Playful screaming.

I rushed around the corner of the house and gaped.

There was about five or six people that we're shooting fire and weird magic at each other.

They swiftly dodged the attacks and launched one right back.

My eyes landed on someone, a familiar person, who was laughing and screaming as she watched the people battle.

I cried out. "Zelda?!"
