Thinking out loud - Chapter 26

Nashs P.O.V

I looked in the mirror and adjusted my tie, Cameron and I have been talking about homecoming ever since last month. Its finally here the moment has come. Cameron said he would be at my door at 7:00  it is know 6:30 I  was getting ready I had my black blazer fitted nicley around my body. Today was the first time I have been to one of these things im scared of what is going to happen. I shouldnt be thinking of the negative I have my beautiful boyfriend with me through it all. I watched the time tick, the minutes were going by so slowly I couldnt wait to see him
I heard footsteps coming into my room

It was my mom

" hey sweetie just coming to check on y-" she paused for a minute eyeing me

" nash honey you look amazing"

" really mom thanks"

" your welcome, oh and someone is waitng downstairs for you" she said with a smirk

I knew it was Cameron

The nerves hit me hard

I didnt want to leave him waiting  so I looked back at myself and closed my door.

I could hear my dad and cam talking about football the usual, until they stopped when I walked down the stairs.

Cameron's P.O.V

He was so breathtaking, I couldnt even believe he wad standing right here. I got up and I walked over to him I couldnt see the bruises on his face that much anymore. I wasnt thinking about them

Before I could say anything Nash told his parents we were going now

We got in the car and drove on our way.

I kept looking over at him and smiling

I opened the school door for him and we walked in hand in hand  the loud music took over

We spent the night laughing and dancing and just having a good time.

Thinking out loud came on and ever one was getting ready to slow dance

" when your legs dont work like it used to before, and I cant sweep you off of your feet" 

"  lets dance baby " I said grabbing him hand lightly

I pulled him close to me he wrapped his hands around my neck and I gently put mine around his waist.

" you look incredible tonight" I said

" I would say the same too you" he said

I smiled and leaned in to kiss him our lips touched in a perfect matter like always

" I have a surprise for you" I said

He looked at me confused

" we are going to the lakehouse again tonight"

I find that going there makes us forget about the world I love it I love forgetting its just me and him

"  I dont know cam, it sounds amazing babe but my mom an-"

" say no more, I already talked to them about it they said yes your mom already packed your bag for two days we leave in an hour"

" I am in love with you Cameron"

I laughed

" I wasnt only talking to your dad about football you know that right"

He kissed me again and an hour later we were on our way

I held his hand, one hand on the steering wheel and the other holding his.
