Emma and Regina are really good friends. They've known each-other for a very long time because Regina was friends with Emma's sister Mal. Back when Regina and Mal were in hight school and Emma was in college Emma had the biggest crush on Regina but Regina never noticed Emma because she was and outcast and the only friend she had and that time was Ruby. After hight school Regina and Mal lost touch and haven't seen each other until 10 years later when Regina come barging into granny's dinner looking for Mal. Little did Regina know that she would find the love of her life there.
