I Love You

Chapter twelve

Today Tsumugi, Shigure, Ayame, and Hatori were going camping. Shigure suggested that they go to the sohoma lake house "its so pretty outside" Tsumugi said looking at the baby blue sky in awe. 

"I know right?! Isn't it simply wonderful!" Ayame said twirling with his arms out and his silky while hair was whirling around him making him look mystical.

Tsumugi blushed and looked away. When did he get so attractive?! She thought "are you blushing~" Shigure said from behind her scaring her.

"ah! And no Im not its just a little hot is all" she said puffing her cheeks out.  While looking away.

"Sure" Shigure said laughing. They found a small clearing and decided to set up their tent there. "Ill find fire wood" Tsumugi said. Ayame smiled at her.

Why is she so pretty? He thought "let me come too darling!" He said chasing after her.

She smiled and they grabbed each others hand before running off. The bent down picking up sticks.  They both looked st each other Ayame gazing into her hazel eyes while she gazed into his golden ones.

"um lets go over here!" Tsumugi said getting flustered. Ayame blinked in surprise but quickly followed after her. Why do I feel like this!? She groaned in her head.

He's just a friend, he's just a friend He's just a friend, he's just a friend... Tsumugi chanted in her head.

Ayame watched her with an amused expression. She has been acting weird lately. Whenever he got physical like holding hands or small gestures since he couldn't hug her she would quickly try and escape.

Did I do something wrong? He thought looking at the girl with a confused expression. "Ayame there are more twigs over here" Tsumugi called

"how much you wanna bet they get together?" Shigure said as he watched the two love birds run off. "Shigure you know that they can't be together. He's cursed and she's not it will never work" Hatori said feeling bad for one if his closest friends.

"eh I still bet ten bucks" Shigure said putting a pole in the ground. Hatori roles his eyes. "Thats not where it goes and fine your on"

Shigure smirked "I just won an easy ten dollars~" he sang and Hatori smacked him up side the head. "Get to work"

"why aren't we sleeping.inside again?" Hatori asked "because hati that takes all the fun away" Shigure said looking at the tent proudly.

"we got the wood~" Ayame sang as he and Tsumugi threw the firewood on the floor.

"ill dig the pit" Shigure said and Hatori chuckled "why trying to hide a bone?" Tsundere tilted her head and Shigure pouted.

"so mean hati" he said and he dug the hole Hatori cleared the area while Tsumugi and Ayame put rocks around it and put the firewood into the pit.

It was night time and owls could be heard over head and the occasional rustle of the leaves when the wind.blew.

Tsumugi and the others were crowded around the fire as they listened intently to Shigure's story. Ayame and the others were roasting marshmallows over the burning fire.

"and then Jason strikes! Killing the child with his big heavy paw and razor sharp claws.

The whole camp was killed. And people still say that they see bloody paw prints. And that Jason in still out for revenge feasting on campers in this very spot" 

Shigure said While wiggling his fingers. "sh-shigure what was that?" Tsumugi asked after she heard a twig snap. "It was nothing right?" Ayame said.

Hatori rolled his eyes. "Its just a story" he said standing up before yawning. "Im going to go get more fire wood" Hatori said walking off.

Suddenly another twig broke. And the three of them yelped "hati is that you?" Shigure asked clinging onto Ayame.

"Hatori?" Tsumugi said suddenly they heard a growl and ten they all screamed. "Ahhh!!! Run!! Its Jason!" Shigure yelled and the three of them scattered into different directions.

Hatori came back and looked around. "guys?" He said as he checked the tent but felt his heart quicken when he realized that they weren't there.

"this isn't funny! Here are you?" He said and anxiously looked around when he heard no reply.

"Ayame!? Tsumugi!?" Shigure called while wondering around the forest. It was very dark and he could only see silhouettes of things . the moon was only a crescent so it didn't give him much light.

"Hatori!?" He called  cupping his hands around his mouth. He suddenly bumped into something and he felt a hand reach put and steady him. "Shigure where are the others?" Hatori asked.

"um....I don't know?" Shigure said sheepishly while looking around. "but maybe I could find them more f there is a dog or wolf around here somewhere" he said

"well lets head back to the camp first and see if any of them went back"

"Shigure, hati, Tsumugi! Where are you!?" Ayame asked and he saw a wolf run up to him. Ayame skilled it must be Shigure. The wolf tugged on Ayame's kimono and drug him.back towards camo.

"ah! Hati! Shigure!" Ayame said dramatically while he threw himself on top of the other two boys.

"where is Tsumugi?" Ayame asked looking around. I hope she's ok he thought as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"um we still have to find her hehe" Shigure said. "Here is her shirt" Ayame said digging in her bag. "Hey find her for us would you?" Shigure asked the wolf.

He Wagner his tail and barked before sniffing the price of clothing in Ayame's hand. He brought his nose down to the ground and started following and invisible trail.

"ouch" Tsumugi said leaning against a tree. While she was running from Jason she tripped and fell. "I think I sprained my ankle. Great. Thanks Shigure" Tsumugi said bitterly

She heard a howl and tensed up. Something about being in the forest at night have her the hebejeebes.

Suddenly a wolf ran up to her and she grabbed a twig "stay back!" Tsumugi said standing up and hopping on one foot.

The wolf tilted its head in confusion but howled. "Leave her alone!" An annoyed voice said from.behind the wolf. Shigure came into view and the wolf ran off.

"thank god you guys are here I would have been eaten alive!" She said dramatically holding her chest.

"wait happened to your foot?" Ayame asked and she sulked "I sprained my ankle I tripped over a tree root" she said.

Ayame helped her walk to the lake house and Hatori bandaged her up. Shigure was sent to fetch the bags and tent since he starts this mess.

"but what if I het lost" he complained while he got pushed out the door by Hatori. "You'll find your way back. Your like a stray dog begging for food" he said before shutting the door.

Tsumugi laughed "well this was fun she joked.
