"i'm so happy to be off that plane " Naomi said to her girlfriend while stretching in the walk way
"me too i'm ready to go to sleep" Ray said while grabbing her carry on from the top.
Naomi and Ray would be staying with Ray's mom for a few months until their home was ready. Ray's mom was an architect so she promised to give them a place to stay until her newest project was finished and they could move in.
"the uber should be at the front in a minute come on" ray said while grabbing Naomi's hand as they walked through the airport with their things
"we've been dating for a year and i never hear you talk about your mom" Naomi said
"because i don't like her and she's not important" Ray said
"then why are we staying in her home" Naomi frowned
"because she offered and i'm not turning that down" Ray said and shrugged her shoulders
The uber pulled up and Ray and Naomi put their bags in the trunk of the car and got in the car.
"hi how are you" the driver said
"good" they both said and he pulled off
Naomi rested her head on Ray's shoulder and started scrolling on instagram
eventually they pulled up to a big house that could've passed for a mansion.
"damn" Naomi said looking at the house in awe
"mm take this" Ray said rolling Naomi her luggage
"now you don't have to like her , if she says something to you make sure to tell me" Ray said and Naomi nodded as they walked to the door
Before they reached the door a woman opened the door with a smile causing ray to roll her eyes
The woman was tall but not taller than ray , she was about 5"8 with a caramel complexion with an hourglass figure she looked really young.
she was gorgeous
"Ray'lani" she yelled excitedly and ran to give ray a hug
"hey mom" ray said not hugging her back
"this my girlfriend Naomi , Naomi this is my mom nicole" Ray said
"hi your so beautiful" Nicole said
"thank you so are you" Naomi said cheesing
"okay come on i'll show you to your room " She said and they all walked in the house
the interior design of the house was gorgeous from the spacious living room to the huge kitchen.
"you did all this" Naomi said looking around the house
"yes i can make y'all home look good like this" she said
"can you hurry and show us to the room please i'm tired" Ray butted in
her mom walked them up the stairs to atleast 5 bedrooms.
"you guys can pick the room you want and if you need anything just let me know" she said and walked downstairs
"this is nice " Naomi said looking around the room
"i'm gonna go shower i'm tired" ray said and then went into the bathroom.
