Rise of voltron part 2

Recap:

Keith pulls down a white sheet that was hanging on the wall and shows Shiro, lance, hunk, and pidge his board of a map, diagrams, and notes
Then suddenly a new voice comes from the hallway as the person made their way over

"Hey Keith welcome back, wait...is that..."

Authors P.O.V:
"Its good to see you again lucy" shiro said with a small smile the mysterious person now known as lucy smiles brightly then runs up and hugs shiro which he greatly returned
"Your back! Your really back! Where were you?! What happened to your hair" lucy asked and they broke apart
"Its a long story I'll tell you later ok?" shiro said which she nodded in understanding then looks at Keith
"Oh your showing them the board?" she said walking next to him

Lucy had a mullet  similar to Keith but dyed red at the bottom along with a pink coon tail on the side of her face

She also had a black short sleeve shirt with a dark red shirt under it along with gloves like Keith, black pants and red converses on that look a but dirty

"What have you two been working on?" Shiro asked Keith and lucy
"I can't explain it, really. After getting booted from the Garrison, I was kinda... lost and... felt myself drawn out to this place. It's like something... some energy, was telling me to search." Keith responded,

"For what?" Shiro questioned "Well, we didn't really know at the time... until we stumbled across this area. It's an outcropping of giant boulders with caves covered in these ancient markings. Each tells a slightly different story about a blue lion, but they all share clues leading to some event, some arrival happening last night. Then you showed up, ." Keith said to Shiro before lucy spoke up
"i know it sounds crazy but its true, we followed this strange energy to a creepy cave," she said looking at the others
"... I should... thank you all for getting me out. Lance, right?" Shiro says holding his hand out for lance to shake
Lance hesitates but shakes it. Shiro offers to shake pidge and hunks hand but only pidge shakes his hand. "The nervous guy's Hunk. I'm Pidge. So, did anyone else from your crew make it out?" pidge asked, why did he wanna know that?
"I'm not sure. I remember the mission and being captured. After that, it's just bits and pieces." Shiro answered
I feel so bad for him, I wish I could've been there for him, but you can't change the past no matter how much you try "Yeah, sorry to interrupt, but back to the aliens. Where are they now? Are they coming? Are they coming for all of us? Like where are they at this very moment?" hunk asked in fear "I can't put it together. I-I remember the word "Voltron". It's some kind of weapon they're looking for, but I don't know why. Whatever it is, I think we need to find it before they do." Shiro answered again "Well last night, I was rummaging through Pidge's stuff, and I found this picture. Look it's his girlfriend." hunk shows everyone a picture of what looked like pidge and a girl. Pidge steals the photo back

Wait wasn't that Katie? That was matts sister, met her at the launch of the Kerberos mission, jeez I miss matt

"Hey, gimme that! What were you doing in my stuff?" pidge said
"I wa—I was looking for a candy bar. But then, I started reading his diary." hunk said holding out a small book
"WHAT?!" pidge yelled snatching away the book and checking if any pages were tampered with
"And I noticed that the repeating series of numbers the aliens are searching for looks a lot like a fraunhofer line." hunk said making Keith confused "Frown... who?" he asked
"It's a number describing the emission spectrum of an element, only this element doesn't exist on Earth. I thought it might be this Voltron, and I think I can build a machine to look for it, kinda like a Voltron Geiger Counter." hunk said
"Hunk, you big, gassy genius!" lance said
"good thinking hunk" lucy complimented
"It's pretty fascinating really. Th-The wavelength looks like this." he said pulling out a graph of the wavelength.
"Give me that," Keith said snatching away the paper he then matches the wavelength's appearance to an array of boulders he has seen and has a photo of
"I guess that's where we're headed," Lucy said looking at the graph
