*here is a poem I made a while ago*

Welcome to the garden of shadows where whispers come to die.
Here sits the fallen servant, the mask of The King he’s donned.
His crown is made of broken trusts.
His throne is made of lies.
His voice sings of the sweetest treasures but you find they are only lies once you take
the fatal bite.
There he sits hidden in the shadows, waiting for you to break, watching with his never blinking eyes, waiting to seal your fate.
You can try to scream but all that comes is a voiceless plea.
You can try to run but no matter how fast you fly you find you have gone nowhere and collapse with a heavy sigh.
You thought this was the way to go, but this here is the shadows home.
The light you once knew no longer here resides.
You try to go back, but how do you find home when you have lost your eyes.
Your arms and legs betray you; your mouth only speaks lies.
You sit there surrounded by the sick, sick briars.
You cannot speak, you cannot drink, for puppets only do what their master desires.
