Estate Of My Mother

To say an estate belonged to women would bring madness to the court.

Mother had no rights to the estate. At least, that is what the documents say. However, the estate isn't just the land itself but the people who dwell on it.

She held the key to all the hearts on the estate. Don't be mistaken. The power she had in others' homes and parties was on par as well. On the other hand, Father had the documental power. He had the power that would outshine hers in the court. The only place Mother was the weakest. Only due to the fact she wasn't born with the power Father has. To be a man.

Father was at an unfair advantage. However, Mother was like a witch with charming spells but Father was the only one who could resist. With that in mind, I had wondered why these two joined hands and had children. Even if they had fallen for each other, it was to be short-lived.
