Xiao gaze at the starry night, leaning closely to railings. It have been two days since he and ganyu talked. He guessed that she's still searching without rest.

Xiao sighed and was about to go inside when he spotted a certain blond. His heart shook as his eyes widen. She was limping weakly and her head was hang low.

Xiao immediately went downstairs, his heart pounding loudly to the point that he could hear it beating. He panted heavily when he arrived at the massive gate. He immediately opened it and the sight before him shock his entire being.

Lumine was kneeling, Her left thigh was consumed in red. It was clear it was blood because of the metal smell that was emitting around her. Her white dress was very dirty and could easily mistaken her as beggar. Overall her appearance was horrifying.

She was gasping for air and her hair was a mess. Lumine raised her head and stare at xiao. Dried tears was visible from her smooth cheeks. Her eyes were also puffy, it seems likejust she cried her self out.

"X-Xiao..." Her weak voice entered his ears as xiao stared at lumine dumbfounded. For some reason his heart was telling him that was something was really wrong.

"I.....I'm sorry." Tears weld up on her eyes as she uttered those words. Her heart was starting to ache again and her head was pounding from the pain and chaos.

Why was she apologizing? What did she do wrong? Wait, Where is aether? He isn't with his twin?

"Where's aether?" It's more like a command than a question. Lumine's tears fell when she heard the question. The memories earlier came back to her hitting her so hard that her tears was starting to fall like a water fall.

"X-Xiao..They manage to take him a-away."

It felt like he had been poured a bucket of cold water as his eyes widen in disbelief.

"What?"

Aether's eyes narrowed as he felt the needle being inserted in his arm. The light on his eyes was gone, He was lifelessly staring at the lab grown he was wearing. His blond hair was loose and he was wearing a blue lab gown that went down to his knees.

"Just a tiny more experiment before you could rest sweet heart." The voice of a woman scientist entered his ears.

After he was bought here, they change him into this lab gown and went straight to the experimenting room. They had been testing him in the past ten hours now. He also found out that he was the only seku here so that's why they went all out experimenting his body.

He could feel a string like feeling roaming around his body making his spine shiver. What did they inject him this time? First he was soaked in a big water tank full of anaconda. That explains the snake bite marks around his body. However he felt nothing, not a slight pain. He only felt a little stiff, probably because of the poison that had been circulating around his body.

He was soaked there for an hour and no clothing on, he was completely naked when they dipped him in, an oxygen was also supporting his lungs when he's inside the tank. All the anacondas went estatics when a human was dump in the tank. They swam towards aether, wrapping their slimey and scaley body around aether's neck, waist, arm, and legs. They were biting and burying their poisonous fangs in his skin. Despite all of the biting, aether felt nothing just a bit uncomfortable.

"There, Finished! You're done for the day honey, Go get some rest." A soldier entered the room and carried aether.

"Make sure to call me when the serum is starting to show signs, okay?" She patted the soldiers shoulders and went outside the laboratory.

Aether was carefully carried as the soldier walk. The dou stayed silent not because they have nothing to talk about, It's just that aether can't open his mouth for it was paralyzed. And he doesn't think that the soldier was nice and talkative.

The soldier pushed a hard and heavy door, as the door was being pushed away aethwr could see what was inside the room. White walls and a single bed in the middle, a big mirror was stretch into the wall. You could see every corner of the room just by glancing at the mirror. Other that the bed and the mirror, The room was very empty.

Aether blinked his eyes as the man slowly placed him on the bed. He could see four cameras plastered on the four different corners of the room. So it was futile to escape their eyes.

After putting down aether, The soldier immediately went outside and locked the door. He stand gaurd beside the door while the key was on his waist.

Aether was too tired to think of anything. After so many years of running, in the end he was still captured.

'How unfair.' A tear escape from his eyes and went to the pillow.

He was physically and mentally tired. All he could think about was lumine's safety, Is she okay? Did dain do something to her? He was too tired that he didn't feel he already had fallen asleep.

He wished all of this was just a bad dream and when he wake up, He's beside xiao and was gazing at him peacefully.

Xiao stayed silent as he stared at the sleeping lumine, He was sitting on a chair and was observing the woman. After what happened earlier, Lumine past out leaving him no choice but to carry her inside. He called the doctor and found out that lumine was shot on her left thigh. She lost a not so small amount of blood And her thigh, it was very purple because she was walking in a very long distance.

There were so many questions inside his head. He wanted to know what happened and he wanted to know where was aether. Where was the man he love?

"Aether...." Xiao's eyes moved to lumine when he heard her call. The woman was sleep talking.

"No....No....No.." Xiao leaned a bit to listen to her.

"D-Don't go....No... Brother!" Soon lumine was starting to scream.

"Give him back to me! Please Don't take him!" Sweat was starting to drip from her forehead and back as his face formed into a frown.

"No! Aether!" Lumine jolted awake as her eyes widen. Hee arm was stretch out seemingly trying to grab something.

"Don't go...." Her mind was still adjusting on what was happening that she failed to notice the man beside her.

"Bring him back to m-me." She was starting to cry once again, her heart was very heavy and broken.

She missed her brother already.

A/N: I am so mad at my classmates! They deceived me! I thought 22 Modules was due next week so I panicked and discard playing and wast actually considering to on-hold this story. But after I find out that only the week 1 will be pass next week, I wanted to beat them so badly. My world was spinning when I finished my 9th Module, god I almost passed out. I was so mentally tired that as soon as I laid down I immediately fell asleep.
Don't mind my little rant xD.
If you're curious about Modules, They're basically little books that you have to answer. There Is week 1 - 4. And I have 7 subjects(I think) and almost all of them have 4 week 1 so I still have loads to answer. (Except the eng, English only have 1 or 3 modules each week. Some subjects exceed 4 tho.)

A/N: Anyway, I will check what's wrong about the chap tomorrow, I want to sleep ╮(╯_╰)╭
