Chapter twelve

We'd finished putting all the boxes in the right rooms. Me and Calum were fighting over who got what bedroom even though our house has 5 rooms. We were laying down in the bed absolutely exhausted from the move.

Cal: "I'm glad we've done this"

Me: "me too. And I'm glad I have this room"

Cal: "don't think so, it's my room. My boxes are in here anyway"

Me: "are they?"

Cal: "you haven't?"

Me: "oh I have"

Cal: "you've seriously moved my boxes out of this room and swapped them with yours"

Me: "yes I have there in the bedroom next door"

Cal: "Fallon Coleman"

Me: "yes?"

Cal: "nothing"

Me: "okay, I'm going to sleep. Night, Cal"

Cal: "night, Fal"

I cuddled up to Cal as he placed a hand on my waist. About half an hour later I still wasn't asleep properly- I was half asleep, aware of my surroundings- and Cal was still awake.

Cal: "sweet dreams, baby"

He kissed my forehead and I smiled as he drifted off to sleep.

I woke up from my serene slumber to Cal watching me. I blushed and tried to cover my cheek but Cal caught my wrist and kissed my cheek.

Me: "morning"

Cal: "morning"

In his deep morning voice that caused butterflies in my stomach. Then I remembered last night and how he called me 'baby'. A smile broke on my face.

Cal: "what?"

Me: "nothing"

Cal: "no come on tell me"

Me: "I heard you last night"

Cal: "what?"

Me: "when you called me 'baby' I heard you, I wasn't fully asleep"

Cal: "oh, sorry"

Me: "no it's fine!"

Cal: "really?"

Me: "mhm"

I nodded and smiled.

Cal: "can I call you 'baby' more often?"

Me: "if you want, I don't mind it"

Cal: "okay, baby"
