29/05/4013 AD – 10:00 – Lavamelt – Anti-Earth Rebellion Headquarters – Throne Room

"So let me get this straight", Flaymaclaze said as he sat on his rocky throne with a less than pleased look on his face. "Not only did you get utterly decimated even though I lent you Psykhodark forces, a dozen Shutenghens, and endless amounts of disposable soldiers... you lost an Angel-class unit as well?" The air in the throne room was tense, Starnava and Veilure stood nervously at the side. No one wanted to be in Flaymaclaze's chamber after a failed mission. Skyswipe and Grouslash were in modification pods, restoring their health.

"We lost Ru-Flare and four Shutenghens", Elimiphlaren replied in a monotone voice as he kneeled before the leader of the A.E.R. "Many of the surviving Shutenghens came back with high damage. We also lost hundreds of brave sold-"

"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!" Flaymaclaze roared, the pits of lava around the room sprung up in the air, causing Veilure and Starnava to edge towards the middle of the room. "WE LOST AN ANGEL WHILST GIVING ONE TO OUR ENEMIES!"

"We lost my daughter, not just an Angel unit!" Elimiphlaren stated angrily.

"This is where you are fundamentally wrong, my friend", Flaymaclaze started to explain. "You see, in war, all that matters are titles: a unit's strength and abilities are all I care about".

"Then your plan was flawed from the beginning", Elimiphlaren was not in the mood for lectures. "Our strongest unit was hiding back here whilst the enemy had a formidable strategy in play! Now we even have people in our own ranks realising that Hyperzio is the real thing!"

"ARE YOU TALKING BACK TO ME?!" Flaymaclaze switched to Wyperian form and extended all four of his bright-red wings, setting them ablaze. The feathers looked like sharpened blades.

"Damn right I am, now stop being an idiot!" Elimiphlaren was not intimidated. "We all know that even at Angel-Deltricia rank, your flames cannot hurt an Angel of Fire!"

Flaymaclaze calmed down, "I suppose your devotion to your late daughter should be commended. But your anger is misplaced. I sent your daughter in because she was skilled and was the youngest Angel that there has ever been. Instead, turn your rage towards the new Angel of Lightning". Elimiphlaren recalled how Hyperzio acted, the raw power of lightning, his ease in using its power and his final words of the legality of Ru-Flare's involvement. Yet, he showed kindness in that he allowed Ru-Flare's body to be collected. Everyone in the room had their eyes on Elimiphlaren.

"General, I think there is an issue that needs to be addressed", he stated firmly. "This Angel, I also believe it truly is Hyperzio the ex- Ayratulia".

Flaymaclaze's grip tightened as he sat back down, "And what makes you think that?"

"He was able to fully control an Angel's power with supposedly no knowledge", Elimiphlaren explained. "He defeated Ru-Flare AND carries the same equipment and Shadow Ability as Hyperzio. Whilst this next point is fairly common, he also possesses the same Angel type as the first form of the previous Ayratulia".

"Hmm", Flaymaclaze sat deep in thought for a few minutes before finally replying. "Whilst I don't doubt your analysis, I can't believe it. The main issue is that all of a sudden, Humanity has pulled a miraculous comeback! We're supposed to believe that the Ultrayan Alliance not only has tonnes of this new technology, but four new Wyperians have just appeared out of nowhere, claiming to have a solution to the war!?"

"Well I suppose the new Human technology is a bit weird but-" Elimiphlaren agreed, albeit reluctantly.

"Very well. I suppose I have no other choice", Flaymaclaze interrupted. "I'll have to waste resources calling in a specialist".
