Losing attraction for someone
Is like losing faith
Faith in your body to react how it
should
Faith in knowing what your heart
should want
It's lonely
It's suffering silently
It's staring into the mirror
losing faith in your own human decency
To continue to hold onto someone
when attraction is lost
is to betray them in the dark
Because you do love them
But the fact is you love the safety of them more
More than your love of freedom
So you stay
You stay
But your faith,
Human decency,
Dignity,
Hold hands with the chemistry
And leave
But you still stay
