Magnate Leto's office is just a big hallway. It hasn't been redone since the destruction so it's juts a big room with a desk and two chairs. "Sit Sophie." "Why am I here?" "Well, I need to make sure you start this year on the right foot." "But why Mr. Forkle?" "Sophie I'm not Mr. Forkle here, just Magnate Leto."
Then he started jabbering about his concerns for my safety, and how the Black Swan is scarred about the fights I make. I got so bored, so I interrupted him and said, "I'm going to be late for my class." He just nodded and let me out.
Today is just a day of introductions, which I know everyone finds kind of lame. So when it was lunch time, Keefe slid in next to me with a note reading, "Mentors cafe, right after this." I slowly nodded, as not to draw attention to myself, but so Keefe would see. Fitz sat down on the other side of me and gave me one of his perfect smiles. His clean white teeth shimmered from the light, and Biana made a gagging motion to Dex, who laughed. Tam frowned, as if he didn't approve of our behavior. Linh wasn't there because she was sitting with Wylie and his friends at another table.
When lunch was over we all went to our classes except for me and Keefe, we went to the Mentors cafe.
We snuck in, and had the time of our life. We at butterblasts and mallowmelt, drank lushberry juice, and laughed about everything that ever existed.
Until Master Cadance found us.
