you replaced us
a new girl you adore
you looked happier than
ever holding her close
it was that easy
to move on with someone new
whispering sweet nothings
you once promised only
for me to know
tucking her hair behind
her ears
twinkle in your eyes
when she is near
pierce my heart with
a spear of realization
one year together
was nothing but hoax
memories are swept

shut forever
