“Soojin dinner time!” Her mom shouted as soojin slowly walk downstairs as she walked down she felt a sharp pain in her chest her vision becoming blurry head pounding as her ears blocked voices her words stuck in throat she gasped for air taking short breaths and before she knew it she lost her conscious
Her eyes opened with the sound of heart monitor as she tried to just up but failed as her body felt weak “lie down soojin” she heard the doctor say “Doctor lee?” She asked as she took a glimpse of doctor who was jeno’s father Who took a seat next to the hospital bed
“How are you feeling?” He asked “weak” she replied as he nodded “Have you been skipping meals lately?” He asked as soojin sighed just nodding “Is there any psychological stress? Or any difficulties which has caused you distressed?” She again just nodded “Alcohol or caffeine consumption?” “Uh coffee she replied “how many times a week?” He inquired “daily about 3-4 cups” she said as his eyes widened
“Soojin that’s not good for your health” he said “I’m calling in your parents you can talk to them now I’m gonna run a few tests” he said leaving
As soojin and her parents were seated in the hospital room doctor lee looked stressed as he was here to tell them about soojin’s condition “Tell me please” soojin finally said as he sighed “ you have psvt Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia...it involves intermittent episodes of abrupt onset and termination. “How serious is it?” Her dad asked “we have to monitor her heart reat, blood pressure for now we can try to keep you on medications and pray that it works on average it is treatable without any surgeries” he said “You should stay here for 3 days so we can monitor you and it’s time to change your habits you can’t drink coffee one of the main reasons to psvt is caffeine and seeing you consume higher rate it will get worse...also the less stress the better” he briefed as she nodded
soojin’s mum hugged her tightly a few tears stained her cheek “it’s alright mum I’ll be okay huh?” She consoled her mother who was crying The door shot open as a heavily breathing jeno and jaemin came running
“What happened?!” Jaemim shouted as jeno hit him indicating to be quiet as they were in a hospital
“I fell down the stairs i got a concussion” soojin said before anyone could say anything Well she was not wrong she indeed had fell down stairs and got 3 stitches as she fainted Her mom gave her a look but she shook her head her parents left the 3 friends sat together
“I got pink roses” jaemin told a little smile on his lips “i got chocolates” jeno said They were a bit uneasy since the event “Thank you guys” she said with a little smile
“Soojin it might not be the best time but we’re sorry and also on behalf of haechan i hope you don’t misunderstand us for long” jaemin said with a sad apologetic face “You thought i would be angry at you for long time huh?” She asked as they shared glances “oh come on I’m not angry just a little disappointed besides I can’t go on being angry at you guys ” she told as they looked down
“Renjun told us everything and we’ll help you i swear she is good at acting” jeno said as she chuckled “well i knew you guys would get it oh by the way Where is he?” Soojin asked and just time a knock was heard of door Followed by renjun coming inside with a flower bouquet his face plastered with worry
“Okay is it only me but he looks handsome?” She asked as renjun was in a formal wear his white shirt tucked in jeans with a dark blue coat on top he looked dashing jaemin laughed “sorry I’m late got stuck had to manage a few important clients for dad” he said breathing heavily as he just rushed from a important meeting
