"Wassup bro," Nino said fixing his cap
"Nothing much, you wanted to ask me something?" I asked
"Oh uh yeah, I was wondering if we could hang out, I've been kind of lonely," Nino said scratching behind his neck
"Not that I don't mind, but why not take Ayla?" I asked, then he looked down at the ground like it was suddenly interesting, "Nino!" I yelled trying to get his attention
"Yeah sorry, Ayla and I broke up,"
"What! Why? When?"
"Yeah we have been broken up for over a week now, and to answer your question, I didn't like the way she was treating everybody especially Mari, who deserves the world for all her kindness" Nino said with a hint of anger in his voice
"Oh, well I guess we could go, father has been nice lately, he wouldn't mind," I said grabbing my phone out of my pocket
"And maybe, Adrein we could invite Mari, it can't be good for her to be locked in her room all the time,"
"We can try but I don't think she would like to join, or my father would like all of you to be there, But if you insist let me ask father and then you text Marinette," I said clicking my father's phone number
"Ok dude," he said pulling out his phone
On the phone with Mr Agreste
"Hello father, may I ask you something?" I asked
"Yes Adrein?" He asked sternly
"Can my friends come over and hang out with me?" I asked trying to hide the nervousness in my voice
"Who are your so called friends?" He asked, I could tell he was trying to get off the phone very quickly
"Um Nino and Marinette," I said nervously looking at Nino who looked at me
"That's fine, but Marinette is already here," he replied
"It's ok I- hang on What!? That's awesome thank you father, but wait why is marin-" he interrupted me
"She was walking by and asked to drop something off for you, but then I saw her sketch book and asked to see some things, but Nino is welcome, maybe he can make a better impression this time," he said with that same sterness in his voice again, before I could say anything he hung up
"Ok dude what did he say," Nino said knocking me out of my thoughts
"He said yes," I said with a confused face
"Ok that's awesome, let me text the dudette," he said clicking in Marinette's picture
"No, she is already there,"
"Woah for real, why is she already there?" He asked
"Something about dropping something off,"
"Oh ok," he said making his way to my car, with me following behind him.
