Casper's Scare School: The Haunting Boo Ball

Chapter 1: Potential Lover?

  I woke up to the chattering and squeals of students, running down the halls. I laid upwards from my bed and at least tried to scratch my head. "What's going on?" Ra pushed his tomb open and jumped right out of where he slept from. "Today's the Boo Ball announcement!! Kibosh announces the brand new change to how the Ball operates today, he promises it's good!" Ra explains as he jumps up and down. "Oh. Well lets go see--" I hear something creak, I turn to see Thatch getting out of his coffin. He looks... nervous? That's new, especially on a day like this. "Thatch? What's wrong? You look like you saw a ghost." Mantha says, trying to keep in a laugh. Thatch shakes his head and now has a angry expression. "Haha very funny Mantha. Just because Casper's right in front of me. Now move along losers." He pushed Ra aside and ran to the main hall.  "What's up with him today?" I thought to myself. 

   As I opened the Main Hall doors, I'm welcomed with the view of all the students, whispering and giggling. But the creature that caught my eye was Thatch, he was tapping his foot and looking around the place nervously, as if what Kibosh's about to say is gonna bring a curse upon him. I float to him and try to ask what's going on. But before I could, I heard a voice say "So anyways, here's the leader of the Underworld, Kibosh." I look over to see a stone gargoyle stepping off the stage and Kibosh appearing out of the shadows. "Students, rumors have gone around saying I am announcing something about the Boo Ball. In that case, yes, yes I am. If you guys didn't know, This year's Boo Ball marks the 200,000 anniversary. To honor this special occasion, All the schools from all the realms will come and unite for this one event. By Full moon on the final day of Scare School, all the scare schools will be united." It finally clicked to me, So that's why everyone's excited, and that's why Thatch's nervous. Someone's coming to the school, someone Thatch sees as special

By the time Kibosh finished his speech. All the students walked away, I overhear Mickey and Monaco saying something about hotter boys coming to the school. I shake my head as I see Thatch sneaking away to the balcony. I decided to follow him, I wanna know who's coming and why Thatch was so nervous. As I made my way to the balcony, I hear Thatch talking to himself. "Don't worry... Neptune... It won't be long... I'll finally have you back." He says. I wonder to myself, "Who's Neptune? Are they.... someone he knows?"
