Chapter 15

Back to your POV

I finally arrived at my destination. Far away from the people I love. I sighed, and a butler showing me to my new home and told me about my school here.

"Arigato!" I said.

"Gomen, your father is pretty cruel to do this," He mumbled while leaving the house. The jet left my house while I tried to make myself at home. I had a week off, so I could get used to my house and unpack my things. It was finally the first day of school. It was pretty odd not seeing any Japanese people. I finally made it to my first class.

"Good morning! My name is Ayumu Miya. You can call me Ayu," I said, speaking English in a Japanese accent.

"I love your accent! Do you want to tell the class where you came from?" The teacher asks.

"Okay, um...I am from Tokyo in Japan. I used to go to Inarizaki High School!" I said.

"Why did you move here?" A kid yelled out. Oh, shoot!

"I heard American schools help you get a better scholarship, so I moved here," I said, sweating.

"Sweet!" The same person said. I smiled. Maybe I can fit in with these people! After 4 of my classes, it was lunchtime. I went outside and looked around. I debated on where I should sit.

"Oi! Tokyo girl! Come sit with us!" A girl screamed. I speed walked to the table, where the girl screamed in. There were two boys and two girls there.

"Good afternoon!" I said, smiling.

"Sup! Come sit down," She said. I nodded and sat between the two girls.

"My name, Vivian!" The girl says.

"And I am Zoey," She says.

"Nice meeting you!" I said. "You probably know my name."

"I'm Nolan, Vivian's boyfriend," A dude says, shaking my hand.

"And I am Ryder, Zoey's boyfriend," another dude says, patting my head.

"Sorry I am late! My teacher kept us in longer because she was explaining our homework," A Japanese kid says, speaking in English to my new friends. "Oh, aren't you the new kid?"

"Yeah, Ayu! Nice meeting you!" I said.

"Nice meeting you too! Scooch Zoey!" The guy says, sitting between Zoey and me.

"K, jeez!" Zoey says, scooching and rolling her eyes.

"My names Riku Mirami," He says. "I know, in Japan, we would use san, kun and all. You don't have to use it here.

"Yeah, I figured," I said.

"Anyways, tell us about your life in Tokyo!" Nolan says.

"Sure," I said. I told them about my overprotective brothers and my best friends. I also told them about how they had a crush on each other but never told each other.

"And then there was me, waiting for them to get in a relationship. It was a huge pain in the neck," I said, eating ramen.

"Your life is hilarious!" Ryder says, laughing so hard.

"I just realized you were having ramen! It's been ages since I have had it," Riku says.

"Want to try some," I asked, smiling. He started to blush.

"OoOO, Riku has a crush on Ms. New girl~," Nolan says, smirking.

"Shut the fuck up, Nolan!" Riku yells. I didn't blush, like how every main character in a movie does, when someone says this. I like Rin. I may have run away from him, but it's for his own safety.

"Welp! I ship!" Vivian says.

"Um, you guys don't mind if you don't ship with any guy, right?" I asked while twirling my hair.

"Why? Are you lesbian?" Ryder asks.

"What? No!" I said.

"Then?" Zoey asks.

"It's pretty personal. I'll tell you guys when I am ready," I said.

"Take your time, bud," Nolan says, patting my back.

"Change of topic; I so want to meet your siblings!" Zoey says, clapping her hands.

"Yeah, maybe when they want to come!" I said, giving an awkward smile.

"You should come and sit with us tomorrow, as well!" Riku says.

"It's not like I have any other people to sit with," I snorted.

"I like you," Zoey says, laughing. Soon, the bell rang, and I went to math. Finally, it was the end of the day. I met up with Zoey and Vivian near my locker.

"Hey!" They said.

"Woah, you scared me!" I said.

"Sorry, we have a request for you," Vivian says.

"What's up," I asked.

"Would you like to join the girl's basketball team?" Zoey asks. I thought for a second. I mean, I used to play basketball, and it would be great to get my old me back.

"I see why not!" I said. The two girls dragged me into the gym and introduced me to the coach. I showed them my skills, and they accepted me. After practice, it was finally time to go home. I saw a stray dog and a cat on the ground, so I took them to the vet. The vet got their rabies out, and I ended up adopting them.

The cat was white and had greenish to yellowish eyes, so I called it sushi. The dog was dark brown with small patches of white, so I called it mochi.

School went fine. My grades were fine, so, did not have to worry about that. I still missed my friends, boyfriend, and my brothers from Japan. I am hoping they all are doing fine. Luckily, my new friends helped me get distracted from worrying. I keep getting shipped with Riku, even though I don't like him, but I don't mind it.

Also, the basketball team is on a roll! We were able to become one of the champions in the USA! I never got a role that is this huge ever in my life. Take that, pa!

A year later (you are a second-year now)

I was skipping my way to school today.

"Aye! Zoey!" I yelled.

"Ayo!" She yells back. "We got some news!"

"What's up?" I asked.

"Apparently, high schoolers from Japan are coming here for two months. Their basketball team and some other additional boys who seem to be one of their siblings," She said.

"Sweet, do you know which school?" I asked.

"I-I-Ina, I can't pronounce this shit," she says. Vivian joined us and tried to pronounce it too.

"Let me look at the paper," I said. From all the schools....why?!

"Inarizaki High?!" I screamed out.
