"am i going left?" troy asked holding the ball as i watched
"yeah" dad said breathlessly "he looks middle, you take this downtown"
"ok, like this?" troy asked faking right and going left
i looked to my right to see our mom at the door way, 'oh no, shes going to make us go to the party' i thought as she watched troy and dad play while i was reading and watching them practise
"whoo! thats it man. sweet. lets see that in the game." dad said praising troy "dylan your turn son"
"aww come on." i whined
"come on we have to practise" dad said
"fine" i said stubbonly taking the ball out of his hand and dribbling it around him then shooting it in the hoop
"yooo dyl when did you get so good man" troy my annoying older (by 7 minutes) twin brother. we look nothing alike
"c'mon ive always been this good. and good looking" i said smirking at him, but that only lasted about five seconds until i saw him charging at me
"boys!?" i heard mom say as i come to a stop " did we really fly all this way to play more basketball"

"its the last night of vacation" mom said and twerled "the party remember"

after me and troy got ready we headed down to where mom said to go, the party. when we walked in 2 people were singing together
"all right how about that for a couple of snow boarders" the guy with the mic said as the people that were singing waved and walked off the stage "whos gonna rock the house next"
as im looking around i see a bright light on me and i see the other go on a girl that was reading
"i cant sing, no you go" i say not wanting to go up
"and you! yeah come on" the guy said getting the girl that i could tell did not want to do this either
"look, i dont sing. i cant sing, no guys..." i say but no one listened to me.
i looked around for troy to help me but i see him go out side with a girl the he is most likely going to make out with so i just give up
"hey you know what? someday you guys might thank me for this... or not" the guy said putting the microphone on the stand
